A wonderful place with a great suport from the staf team. The stay was even more perfect for us because there were beside of us only 2 other couples by that time. The kitchen chefs surprised us every day with delicious meals and desserts. The swimming pool was awesome as well as the ocean. We had the best time in a resort so far for us.

We stayed at Sun Siyam Pasikudah for 9 days and had the most amazing time! From the exciting excursions to the delicious food and exceptional service, everything exceeded our expectations. A very special thanks to Dilshan, Dileepa, Tirasha, and Chamod for giving us the best experience and making us feel completely at home throughout our stay. You truly made our holiday unforgettable. As mentioned by many, the food here is absolutely delicious – every meal was a treat for all nine days! A heartfelt thanks to Chefs Indika and Lasantha for preparing a wonderful special seafood dinner for us – it was the highlight of our trip! We couldn’t recommend Sun Siyam Pasikudah enough. We’re so happy we chose this hotel and the beautiful country of Sri Lanka for our family vacation. We’ll cherish these memories forever and can’t wait to return!

It was a wonderful experience for the whole family. The room was quite spacious and clean. The indoor plunge pool was definitely a nice addition. Food was great and staff were quite attentive and friendly. And the wonderful beach stretch here certainly is one of the best we’ve come across in Sri Lanka!

A very beautiful and elegant hotel. The buffet food was average, so we opted for à la carte (which was superior). The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the only thing that detracts from our rating is the complete lack of swimmable water. The area in front of the resort is completely rocky, and the water is extremely shallow, making swimming and snorkeling IMPOSSIBLE...which was one of the main reasons we wanted to spend a few days at the beach… Suitable for those who want to relax for a few days, perhaps reading by the pool, but totally NOT recommended for those who want to do any water activities.

When we arrived at the hotel there were a few issues. The public areas were in need of cleaning and our room was uninhabitable due to a foul smell. We were extremely disappointed and contacted our travel company to look at options for moving hotel. In parallel, we escalated to the hotel management, who responded immediately. From that point onwards things changed. Keerthi, the Operations Manager was fantastic in the way he dealt with the issues, as was Rukshan the housekeeping manager and Kapil the front of house manager. The public areas were immediately cleaned, the source of the smell was identified as a blocked drain and resolved, Keerti promised to move us to a new room the following day, which we accepted, and we decided to monitor the situation for 24 hours. From that point onwards, we were really looked after. We were introduced to the hotel manager, Arshed, who took the time to get to know us. For the duration of our stay, Arshed and Keerthi kept checking that all was ok and there were no further issues. The staff at the resort were exceptional. We will mention a few here…. Lahiru is one of the more senior bar staff. He was always a pleasure to talk to every day and made the best cocktails. He was ably assisted by Dileepa, Gihan, Dilshan, and Tharushi who was always smiling At every meal, Thushara looked after us personally. He always remembered how we liked things and came up with new suggestions for us to try. Together with Thirasha, they made dining a pleasure. Each morning, Thusi and Kiludsan, the pool boys, would lay out our towels under our favourite tree. And finally, we need to mention Sudhan, our housekeeper, who cleaned our room each day and left wonderful towel sculptures and messages on our bed. He was amazing. One of the other things that really impressed us was the way Arshed employs local people from the surrounding communities to train in the hotel and give them great opportunities. He also has all the furniture sourced and carpentry and furniture repairs/renovations done by workers in the local communities. We lived this aspect of the hotel. What an incredible hotel with unbelievable service! If you’re looking for the ultimate place to relax with everything you need, then this is the place! Great location, amazing beach, good vibe, we really couldn’t have wanted more and wished we could have stayed longer. Staff just amazing.

From the moment we stepped into Sun Siyam Pasikudah, we felt so welcome. Every single member of the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. Their kindness made a huge difference to our stay. The hotel is beautifully kept – modern, clean, and very comfortable. We also loved the food. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Mealtimes became something we looked forward to every day! The whole place has such a peaceful atmosphere. It’s the kind of setting where you can truly unwind, listen to the sound of the ocean, and forget about everything else. One of my favourite spots was the long pier that stretches out into the water. Watching the sunset from there was magical – I can easily imagine it being the perfect place for a romantic dinner or even a proposal. A special thank you to the General Manager, Arshed. You can really feel his dedication in every little detail around the resort. His presence and care make the whole experience even more special.

The sea absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed so much the walking on the endless beach. The staff is amazing , made my solo trip so rich of memories and extra care, done multiple activities and I recommend the dinner in the cellar as they have the best cellar in Sri Lanka , and also a must the dinner on the platform in the middle of the sea! A big thanks for the unforgettable memories , they made me live a dream
