Thejan Beach Cabanas in Bentota

Only the location is good for the property. The cabana much needed maintenance.
When we checked inn the floor was little wet . A/C was not at all in good condition, it was vibrating and at one point part of a/c unit fell down .. which took 1.5hr to fix but still a/c was not working properly.

Horrible experience ! The stay was very uncomfortable...The a/c was not working and after 10 mins the unit of ac fell down on the floor and the guy who came to fix it was working on it for more than 45 mins still couldn't fix it ! The a/cs are old. The floor was wet before our arival and the room had a peculiar smell throughout! The cabana was very old and outdated. The entire premises require maintenance. Although the location was amazing the resort was poorly maintained.

Stay away from this restaurant!!! You will order and then wait forever. The waiter was unbelievable slow, forgetting orders, i had to go 3 times to remind them that we are still waiting for the food. Then we rejected to pay service charge because of poor service and the guy started to threatening to our driver .

As a group of 5 people we stopped for a quick lunch on our way. We sat on table and 2 waiters came to take the order.. None of them wasn't able to answer simple question about any dish.. On the end when the order were completed we asked how long does it gonna take and the answer was half an hour which made a sense as we're there literally alone.. We also ordered 4 drinks ( x2 cokes, soda, lassi).. 2 cokes was delivered after 2 minutes.. For the lassi we were waiting 20 minutes.. Soda water came on the table after half an hour and also needed to ask for 3times and finding the staff all around the venue cuz there was nobody to serve or talk to.. Food came on the table after 1 hour and 10 minutes.. After more than 1 hour cooking the food chicken was like chewing gum.. 10 minutes after finish eating we again had to stand up and walk around the venue to find someone who can give a bill.. On the end we refused to pay the service charge as its not mandatory to pay and also the service was worst than a poor.. After we didn't pay the service charge and went back our van were our guide and driver were waiting for us.. After that one of the waiter ran after us started to knocking on the van swearing on us and started to saying that if we move with the car he gonna start breaking the car.. Most rudest, laziest, arrogant and aggressive waiter Ive ever seen in hospitality and all around the world..
