Had the best stay at this place. The host was very welcoming and super friendly, and the view was just beyond amazing. 100% worth the price.

I loved everything, the staff was polite and helpful throughout.
The view from the window was incredible.

Everything was perfect except for the tiny ants that appeared in the room.

The hotel is very well located. There are big waves everywhere, and the hotel has a reef and you can swim even with small children. The hotel itself is tired. There are plenty of ants, there are cockroaches.
Breakfasts are not particularly tasty and varied. But you will definitely not go hungry.
Nearby there are fish and fruit markets, banks, opposite they make very tasty juices.
But the main thing is that the view from the hotel is just the bomb.

OK, beautiful, near the sea

The hotel is generally very tired, the view and location are attractive. Although all the rooms overlook the ocean, the soundproofing is terrible, you won't get enough sleep, because there are constantly tuks and crazy basses (which honk at everyone)

Beautiful location, right on the beach, and very close to shops, restaurants, and transportation. We paid US$70/night and stayed for 2 nights. We would have liked 2 rooms overlooking the sea, but they were sold out.. so one of us stayed in a hotel a couple of buildings down the road/beach (Mayo). The room we selected was indeed a family room and has 2 very well-spaced out double beds - and we selected it because it was the only room left with a sea view. The breeze and sound coming from the waves were amazing from any part of the hotel.. and the view is outstanding. We had a balcony with 3 chairs, a mini refrigerator, a fan, free WiFi, and air-conditioning. We took advantage of the two double beds and each had one to ourselves. Turned off the air-conditioner and had the balcony door and windows wide open - perfect as this room is 100% private - no overlooking buildings or other rooms. Very comfortable sleep. For breakfast, we included 3 of us to eat together here in the price - We had the usual fare: eggs, toast, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juice.. but also not so usual - yoghurt and cake.

It was in a great central location . It had access to the ocean at the front . It was easy to get to the Hikkaduwa national park for snorkelling and then in the other direction to go to the lifesavers to watch the nightly release of the turtle hatchlings . It had a spacious room with a great big balcony overlooking the ocean with good sirconditioning . The staff were so helpful and attentive . You felt really safe . The owner organised a tuktuk driver to take us to Galle fort . That was a bonus as we stopped at a Buddhist monastery . The fort was exceptional and worth the visit .
The owner also organised a wonderful taxi driver that took us to the airport . The breakfasts were ample and such a nice place to eat them on the terrace each morning . Even though it was in a busy street you felt safe and couldn’t hear the noise . The staff were so helpful and you felt like family when you left . The hotel is a bit dated but the owner is doing maintenance work but it has an old worldly feel and certain charm to it and very affordable .
