Hotel Rock Fort in Unawatuna

Rock Fort Beach Resort was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, offering beautiful ocean views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

The food was excellent. The service was equally impressive; the staff were friendly and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better.

We had our wedding on 05th February at Rockfort Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. From our very first meeting with the team to the final moments of the celebration, everything was handled with exceptional care, professionalism, and warmth.

A heartfelt thank you to the hotel management and Mr. Shantha, Ms. Kaushi and the entire staff for their outstanding service and coordination. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and even our last-minute requests were accommodated without hesitation.

Special appreciation to Hasaranga Flora for the beautiful decorations, to Akalanka and the crew for conducting the poruwa ceremony and welcoming event so gracefully, and to DJ Max for the superb music that kept the celebration alive. The food deserves a special mention. It was absolutely delicious and received countless compliments from our guests.

The stay was amazing with the wonderful sea view and the beach as well. We enjoyed lot. Tasty foods at restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice and warm welcome by the staff. To be honest, a few reviews here made me skeptical but after going there I found out that its a beautiful place. The service is really great, the staff were kind and welcoming.The food was good but it would've been better if they had a more variety of food for dinner. The pool is a nice place to relax but it's a bit small. This hotel is located at a beautiful location with a clean beach just down the road. Our rooms were in the 4th floor, they are very spacious and cozy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!

Visited for a wedding occasion. Location was good. blue whale Ballroom arrangements are good.lighting was beautiful. Bar area separately arranged n its open to beach. various meals collection to select n also desserts collection was good. but meals taste level was average.separate parking space available. Staff service was recommended n they are very friendly.located in front of galle road between unawatuna n thalpe.

It's a small hotel beautifully done few minutes away from the galle city. Food was good the service was also good. Beautiful rooms and a little pool. You can't use the ocean just out side the hotel but nicely located to enjoy a sunset by the beach. For locals it's good to have a family day outing. Definitely recommended. Prices are really reasonable.
