Very lucky to have visited this spa with my family; we all had fantastic, relaxing experiences and I want to especially thank Salath, my masseuse, for providing such a fantastic experience. Highly recommend his skilled service, unfortunately don't think men are allowed to massage women here!

Great place. Very clean and high quality. The massages are great. If you like it more firm just let the staff know before the massage and they will accomodate (I'm relating to other comments complaining that the massage was too soft). Our first massage was also soft, but the second time we asked for a more firm massage and that's what we got. 👍👍👍

Good service and friendly staff

I stayed at this hotel for one night. It’s conveniently close to the airport, making it easy to reach in about 30 minutes. If you’re looking to enjoy a lagoon view, this is one of the best options. The breakfast was excellent, featuring both traditional and Western dishes. They also offer a late checkout option at an hourly rate of approximately $5 USD per hour.

It is very clear place. I was little dissapointed because I asked for vegan and gluten free option. Ofcourse, I know it is demanding diet but I asked if I could get e.g. some rise. I got only fruit. What was okay, but comapring to other places where that was not a problem (I got lankan breakfast which is mainly v.-gf). I can only add that we were only guests so it wasn't busy time.

On one hand clean, on the other there was a mould on the ceiling in the room. The owner was not feeling really responsible when locking me from outside at night. Missed a train in result of this. Good WiFi though.

The location is perfect as it's close to the beach and it has a great view specially from the rooftop pool. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The food portions are good and the staff was welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Went there to get together with a couple of friends and have a drink. Liquor needs to be brought from outside and 1000 rupees for the table. The bites are delicious and recommending the deviled chicken (which is not dry unlike other places). The place does not have card payments and an atm machine is a bit far from the place. So better come with cash at hand.

Universal power points in the rooms and in the restaurant. Tasty food. Beachfront location. Friendly staff. Plenty of local food options and easy access by taxi from the airport for a stopover. Air conditioning and overbed fan cooled the room quickly and made it easy to take a nap in the day during the heat of summer. The location is excellent. At the beach. At the heart of Negombo beach.

The hotel is a small village consisting of different types of houses set in spacious gardens. A large swimming pool forms the centerpiece. Everything is available, from small, inexpensive double rooms to family rooms and bungalows. We stayed in a single bungalow with a large bedroom and a huge living room with a kitchenette. Great, clean and aesthetically beautiful accommodation with super friendly and service-oriented staff and on top of that a manager, Mr. Tharanga Suraweera, who not only reopened the pool for our kids despite our very late arrival, but also stepped in at very short notice to take us to the airport when we had problems with Uber. Definitely a five-star hotel!

This hotel is great, the room was spotless and the air con was very effective. The swimming pool was great, especially considering the beach is nearby but not very swimmable. To the left of the hotel there are lots of fantastic restaurants. Would definitely recommend starting your holiday here!

Beds are bery comfortable, the water in the pool is Perfect and the Staff is very nice. This place is very quiet and the best in Negombo for the price! Everything is near here, so you don't have to walk a lot. the suites have everything that you wilk need so don't worry about anything. I recommend this place if you're looking for a place Like this.

This was my second stay here. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms functional and spacious – the only issue was that the refrigerator in my room wasn't cooling sufficiently, but this should have been fixed after I reported it. Comfortable beds, pleasant shower with good water pressure and warm water.

The hotel is magnificent. Clean and conveniently located. Due to the airline, we were unable to check in on time for our pre-paid reservation – the owner refused to change it, even though we were the only guests there. This is the only reason I'm lowering my rating.

Basic but good budget choice A solid, but bare bones place to stay in Negombo if you’re passing through. The room is spacious and clean, but just the basics. And the hotel is a short walk to the beach, on just on the main road, with a lot of restaurants close by. Not the place you’d want to spend a week, but if you need a no-frills place close to the airport, this does the job.

Stayed in this hotel upon arrival in Sri Lanka. Excellent hotel, ticked all the boxes for a place to stay upon arrival; location, area amenities, friendly, clean and secure. Based on my experience, highly recommended with easy access to the sites in the area.

Excellent budget hotel. The room is clean, the reception staff is friendly. Checked in quickly. I can't say anything about the pool, we didn't visit it. The air conditioner works well. There is shampoo and shower gel, water. The bed is not bad, big, a little soft, but it was comfortable to sleep. The only thing is that the windows are not transparent for some reason

We loved our stay at Prego Suites especially because of the welcoming team which made our stay fantastic. Close to the beach (not even a minute) and the food was just so good here. 10 minutes from airport and drop can be arranged by the team on spot for reasonable price. We would recommend this property.

Beautifully maintained, quiet, comfortable small hotel in a great location. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. Our bed was huge. The shower drain could do with a clean and the bedside lights did not work but those were the only minor things. Breakfast was huge, fresh and delicious. The pool area is delightful. Enjoy

The room with a comfortable and large bed and air conditioning mosquito net sea view, swimming in the sea is not possible not swimmable and dangerous, at least in August; expensive breakfast, not recommended. It is located on the main road with restaurants and shops nearby. Close to the airport, just for one night. The room had a problem with the bathroom faucet and was changed.

Cozy, lovely and comfy place to stay in Negombo with a great, kind-hearted host, fascinating view from the balcony and fantastic breakfast in Sri Lankan style! We were very impressed with the Ayubowan guesthouse. The property was immaculate, well located and had a beautiful garden. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, we arrived late in the evening and they were there to greet us and show us to our rooms.
