Most people seem to stay for one night on way to or from the airport, and thats enough. The room was well appointed but no outside view because the window was blocked by an unnecessay spa room. Staff were very nice. I stayed here after staying in a very spacious room so the rooms here felt small and the AC wasn’t the greatest. There are lots of rescues cats and dogs here so please note when booking.

There is a lot of positives about the hotel, we had a good view of the sea, the pool is great, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast very good. Its the little things that annoy, poor maintemce meaning the sliding balcony doors dont slide, sockets that didn't work and the lack of a hair dryer - there was one for the whole hotel available in reception.

Nice quiet place with nice service

Sunrise Palace Negombo is about 30 minutes north of the airport. We had a late flight arrival and were met at the airport and safely whisked away to the hotel. We were quickly checked in - a very comfortable beds, clean room and fan/aircon. The neighbourhood was quiet. Breakfast of fruit, toast, egg, sausages and tea was enjoyed on the balcony. We were very well looked after during our short stay.

I really liked everything, the breakfasts were good. The hosts were kind and welcoming. There was always bottled water. You can always ask for something, and they'll fulfill it. Everything was great.

The host was very friendly, and the breakfast was truly incredible. Beds are firm, and sleep lovely. Airco and mosquito net against the mosquitoes made for a quit night sleep. We also got some tips what to do and see, but we only stayed for a short while and thus could not see everything they recommended. They also offer a good taxi service from the airport to the hotel.

Such a wonderful property, very well maintained! The guava drink provided during check-in was absolutely delicious. To take the experience to the next level, some improvements are needed in maintaining the bathroom fixtures and windows, as a few were damaged. Overall, it was a great experience.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Spacious wedding hall is iconic. The drop t view reminds me of a palace I saw in UK.
