A nice and clean hotel. We had a spacious rooms with a good bed and badroom. The breakfast and diner was good. The hotel is nice located in Negombo and very near to a nice beach.

Convenience of check-in: The hotel is located in a small alley; you might easily miss it if you're not paying attention. Great place to stay. Staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast was good. Room size was spacious and it was great to have a choice of AC or calling fan. Great to having a working smart TB too. Choice of minibar options was perfect and at reasonable cost. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.

The room facilities are very average, the lights are dim, and there were three power outages. However, it is very close to the airport, so it is still a good option for those who land in the middle of the night.

Clean comfortable hotel, relatively not expensive, It was a fantastic stay at the hotel and the Sunday lunch buffet was sumptuous. The rooms have been recently cleaned and the linen seems new. The bathroom floor is too slippery. The water doesn't drain well. The breakfast menu has a limited variety. The meal menu is delicious, but the dinner buffet has limited variety, so it's better to order food.

Foods was good and has excellent view. Rooms also fine but you will have to deal with some mosquitoes.

Excellent location and lovely hotel to stay at. It's on the beach and the main street. The restaurant has great food and is directly on the beach. The pool area and deck are lovely place to sit. The rooms would benefit from a freshening up and some new linen but otherwise this is a fantastic place.

Old hotel on the beach. Hotel is old and it shows. Towels and bed sheets all stained. The workers are all amazing with great service.

The hotel is very close to the beach and hotel staff is very helpful. Family room is very spacious and clean. The roof called skyview is very causey with a constant fresh breeze. In the family suite you have 6 single beds and 2 attached bathrooms

This is a very good place, there is music and a very very kind staff. The food was a bit slow, but it was because the burger was made all from scratch and that is so cool!!! It was delicious and the drinks was also great. I would reccomend this place if youre looking for a good vibe, good drinks and a perfect burger!!!

I thought it was a very reasonable and nice room, but the smell of the pet dog and cat carried into the room, and I thought it was a little strong. I happened to have some perfume on hand, so I used that to deal with the problem.

There are lots of cute animals in the hotel. The owners are kind and gentle. It's close to the beach, so it's a nice walk. I arrived late at night and left early in the morning, so I wish I could have stayed longer! There's no hair dryer.

Staff were very nice. I stayed here after staying in a very spacious room so the rooms here felt small and the AC wasn’t the greatest. There are lots of rescues cats and dogs here so please note when booking.

Nice quiet place with nice service

Sunrise Palace Negombo is about 30 minutes north of the airport. We had a late flight arrival and were met at the airport and safely whisked away to the hotel. We were quickly checked in - a very comfortable beds, clean room and fan/aircon. The neighbourhood was quiet. Breakfast of fruit, toast, egg, sausages and tea was enjoyed on the balcony. We were very well looked after during our short stay.

I really liked everything, the breakfasts were good. The hosts were kind and welcoming. There was always bottled water. You can always ask for something, and they'll fulfill it. Everything was great.

The host was very friendly, and the breakfast was truly incredible. Beds are firm, and sleep lovely. Airco and mosquito net against the mosquitoes made for a quit night sleep. We also got some tips what to do and see, but we only stayed for a short while and thus could not see everything they recommended. They also offer a good taxi service from the airport to the hotel.

I only stayed here for one night, but it was the best stay on my whole trip. I was welcomed by this very lovely and sweet family, who was very friendly. They even helped driving me back and fourth to a restaurant in the area while pouring rain, and drove me to the airport in the middle of the night as well. I can only recommend.
