I stayed here for one night. I entered the hotel without having a booking. They told me the same price as on booking and I could pay by card. It's literally 300 m or less from bus station which is very good.
Room was good, spacious, tea, coffee, boiler, clean bathroom with toiletries. Only the rug has never been cleaned and it has dust and dirt everywhere. For the price you pay, rug should be cleaned so that you can walk barefooted (this was the only disgusting thing I didn't like). The room they give me was not facing the main street and it was quiet at night. However, the shoe shop downstairs plays loud music until 8 pm.

The place was filthy. Staff does not know how to clean. Comods are extremely dirty. Bathrooms are not properly washed. There is dust everywhere in the room. Glass windows have not been cleaned properly for years. Blankets, pillowcases, and bedsheets are not properly washed. It appears that those were given and used by someone else. Dust has accumulated in the blankets. We informed them that there was women's hair all over the bed, but they did nothing. There are many sounds in the morning, and people play a lot of loud music. The sound of vehicles and music from shops creates a very unpleasant environment. This is the worst place I've been. Don't recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Huddle Nuwara Eliya. The rooms were excellent – clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Nuwara Eliya. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Huddle was a nice place to live in Nuwara Eliya during our Sri Lanka trip. The owner was very friendly, and all the equipment was there. As Nuwara Eliya is a cold place, they also provided blankets. There were no complimentary breakfast but we were happy with other things. Thank You!

Room was fresh and clean, having been recently renovated, though the rest of the place a bit of a mess. Construction and painting going on. No hot water. Not good in a cold town. Worst of all the owner lied about it. A pity, it would have been OK otherwise.

I can just agree with Anne. This was the worst stay we had in Sri Lanka. It was quite dirty and run down. We were happy that we just booked one night and then we went off. Luckily they seem to be renovating at the moment. Keep in mind that there is a temple/mosque nearby and they start playing loud music at 6 am for an hour (on Sundays).

The room is very clean , locate in the centre,close to Victoria'a park, one double bed and sofa, hot water in the shower. The owner is very kind and honest help me with taxi driver in good price and buying train ticket. There are many restaurants around.

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel in Nuwara Eliya with my friend and had an unforgettable experience. The hotel's prime location in the heart of the town made it easy to explore the area. The spacious room was equipped with a TV featuring a wide range of channels, a kettle, and a clean bathroom with non-stop hot water. Additionally, the hotel provided heaters for guests to borrow, a large wardrobe, and a comfortable, soft blanket, perfect for the cool climate. While the price was on the higher side, the exceptional amenities and luxurious ambiance made it well worth the investment

These hotel reviews made me lose trust in Google reviews. How can this filthy place be reviewed with 4,3 stars??? This is the dirtiest place I ever stayed in (see pictures). We needed to move rooms because the bed sheet was dirty. The carpet in the room has never been cleaned (I only walked around in my shoes), and the bathroom only for the necessary. I cleaned the nightstand myself, and the tissue I did it with was black afterwards. The place is really run down and noisy due to the location.
Yes, you get what you pay for, but we had stayed in similar places, and it was clean! If the rooms were deep cleaned and proper maintenance, this would be good value for money.

Just came and really expected more, maybe good ratings appeared when other manager or other team was there.. Manager was sleeping at the middle of day, reception zone is dirty, the room is absolutely DIRTY - toothpick on the floor, dusty, other little garbage, etc. the walls are some where white, somewhere with leftovers of tea or coffee (it could be cleaned just with napkin and water), curtains and windows are in fat or other stuff, nobody has washed it for a long time.
Hope, in other cases the place would be better, than i'll change my review. Hope, the owner will manage smth and teach this team or other about cleaning rooms, about service and about not sleeping at the middle of day when its garbage on the reception zone and in the booked rooms.
