Visited as part of a Sri Lanka holiday, Hassin Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable, The Club clearly has a long and proud history with Britain and are exceptional proud of the Royal visits made. Unfortunately time restrictions did not allow us to dine there but I’m very confident if we had it would have been a throughly enjoyable experience.

Hassim gave us a most enjoyable guided tour of the club, very informative and attentive to our needs. A wonderful glimpse into the past, and still very much a living tradition.

We toured the club with Hassim who patiently explained everything. I am a member of a reciprocal club in the UK. I hope to be back soon to enjoy the facilities (possibly even the magnificent snooker table).

I really enjoyed my tour with Hassim. It was fascinating to see all the antiques and memorabilia. A beautiful building with a very interesting history. Beautiful gardens where I enjoyed a pot of tea and the birdsong.

We came to visit this place and had a wonderful tour with Hashem who hosted us. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. FYI, Tickets are 600 rupees per person.

A beautiful and long lasting experInce. The club is reminiscent of times gone by with a current and active membership. Our host, Hassim, was most knowledgeable, helpful and provided a comprehensive background to the club.

Really interesting visit to learn about the history of The Hill Club. Hassim was a very knowledgeable guide telling us about the history and traditions of the club. Would definitely recommend a visit as lovely gardens too.

This place is absolutly incredible, the building is beautyful. It’s possible to do a visit for 600Rs pp, and it Really worth it. We did the visit with Hassim, he has incredible knowledge about the place. You need to be weekend dressed with pants and a tie if possible.

This time capsule is definitely for Brit History lovers, tea lovers, who appreciate perfect gardens and pix of the Queen's visit 50 years ago. Not for foodies -- had to order Brit food 4 - 24 hours in advance of meal time. Not for folks who are active. Nothing to do but hire a driver to visit tea plantations. I might have explored golf option in the rain, but chose instead to depart after one night.
