It was a beautiful experience in this hotel. The food, room was really good. Even the staff was very friendly. Good place for a family holiday.

I was only for one night at this hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. The room was very nice and had a winter garden with a views of the Lake. The hotel is located out of the city in a quiet location. However, I was disappointed with the kitchen. After breakfast, I had stomach problems throughout the day. Its you gently when you order an egg or omelet. Staff super, kitchen - miserable.

Good lake view room with excellent sit out and well fitted rooms. Restaurant with all cuisines. Friendly staff.

stayed in this resort from December 25-27, very nice and polite support stuffs, tasty and very fresh food, reasonably priced. Overall had a very pleasant stay.

Camellia Lake Resort is located in the hill county of Nuwara Eliya. The resort is close to Lake Gregory and the combination of the hill county and the lake in close proximity makes the atmosphere around the resort quite chilly and relaxing. With the mountains located around the area, the whole landscape is quite scenic.
The geography and weather in Nuwara Eliya resembles the one in England and the theme of Camellia Lake Resort is of a typical English colonial one.
The rooms provide a beautiful view of the lake and have decent amenities. While I stayed there, the resort wasn't providing meals since the kitchen was being renovated. They did provide decent breakfast though.
The staff is very courteous and happy to help.
Overall a relaxing and leisurely experience.
