Lovely hotel. Staff friendly. Everywhere clean and well maintained The food was good. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. No milk, but they would give you some if you asked. Bed was comfy. Air conditioned. No real negatives, the hairdryer cut out on the hot setting, and the shower could be a bit unpredictable heat- wise if a few people were showering in the hotel simultaneously.

I had a wonderful stay at Heaven Seven Nuwara Eliya as a solo traveler. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The location is perfect—close to Gregory Lake and the town. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

The staff at Heaven7 Hotel were really friendly, punctual, and did their best to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is a bit old but acceptable, and overall the stay was fine. The main issue was the lack of blankets—guests had to bring their own at midnight, which should be addressed as it can get cold. Apart from that, everything else was good, and the hotel has great potential for improvement.

The hotel itself is very good, with clean rooms and everything well maintained. The location is excellent, with beautiful surroundings that make it perfect to enjoy Nuwara Eliya’s charm. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

We stayed 2 nights. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous with lovely decorations and most importantly its very clean The place offers a nice view of lake gregory and with peaceful well maintained nice garden. You can walk into the crowded centre of Nuwara Eliya in 15 minutes. good accommodation with reasonable price.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during a spell of unfortunate weather (13–16°C, rain, and strong winds), which may have influenced our overall experience. Additionally, there was loud construction happening across the street—not the hotel’s fault, but worth noting for future guests. The hotel didn’t quite match the standard we’ve experienced elsewhere in the country. While the staff were generally well-meaning, there’s room for improvement in English proficiency and overall hospitality. For instance, there was no welcome drink offered upon arrival, which we had come to expect elsewhere. Restaurant: The food was a highlight—generous portions and good quality across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cook clearly put in a lot of effort. However, one evening, only two waiters were serving over 20 guests. We were initially seated in a cold, unheated side room despite many available tables in the warm main dining area. After expressing our discomfort, we were thankfully moved. Room: Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with tea and coffee facilities provided. However, the shower temperature was inconsistent—warm at times, cold at others—and the heating didn’t always seem effective. Wi-Fi access was limited to one card per person, with a 1GB daily cap and frequent re-logins required. We also experienced several brief power outages that disrupted lighting and internet. One night, a roof leak left the upper floor wet by morning. These issues may have been weather-related, though such conditions might be common at this altitude (approx. 1900 meters).

This is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff and delicious food. Our room had a balcony where you could see the tea plantation. It was a short walk down to the lake where we hired a boat for a quick trip. The room was big and comfortable with 2 king size beds.

All staff were very helpful and very friendly, got a very nice Mountain View room with nice small balcony, room was bit small but it’s still okay. Food was great too beautiful small buffet with option of BBQ Overall everything was great, Had a good time.
