Lovely cabana style rooms. Large and with a lovely open bathroom. Comfy bed and nice private sitting area outside. Powerful, hot shower too. Staff were very kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Pool was cool and refreshing with nice brand new sun loungers. Beach was quiet and good for swimming although it is tricky access to the beach over broken concrete and ropes from the fishing boats as has been mentioned. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was very good. There’s a nice top deck to eat on with lovely views. A 5 minute walk along quiet lanes to Silent Beach which is gorgeous although the sea is quite rough! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent beachside small hotel near Tangalle. Large rooms, lovely garden and pool for cooling off. Direct access onto lovely bay for swimming or surfing ( or watching the fishing boats) plus walking distance to beautiful nearby Silent beach or numerous other beautiful beaches or Tangalle by Tuk tuk . Staff so friendly and helpful and delicious food. Lots of places to eat in the area but we ate at Aga as food so good especially the massive prawns!! Highly recommended as great place to end your tour of Sri Lanka or just to come to the beach. You will be made very welcome.

Absolutely perfect boutique hotel. The cutest hotel on a fabulous beach with a great safe surf break. True it has grotty boats etc but lovely swimming …Our room was great and the stand out really are both the staff .. very helpful and kind and most importantly the delicious and incredible food in the restaurant. Everyone from nearby eats here and it is obvious why. Keep that chef. !!! The freshest fish and prawns .. and great breakfast too. Also great value . Thanks for an amazing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at aga surf .it's tucked away in quiet corner between hiriketiya and tangalle. The property, food, location etc are really good. It's the kind of place which instantly gives you a feeling of relaxation. We liked lazy mornings on the upper deck with the the most delicious coffee . we ended up extending our stay for 3 nights. The rooms are very well decorated and with lots of character. However the staff really steals the show - cannot praise them enough. i know remember few names like indika, manoj, janadhi but actually each member was really kind and us feel like home. There is no doubt I will be visiting again.

Amazing place to stay next to a beautiful enclosed beach. Guide book said one of the nicest places to stay in Sri Lanka and we can confirm. Really amazing vibe. Went with an 8-year old and it was her favourite place from the entire holiday. Staff were lovely and the food delicious.

After 3 weeks of traveling all around Sri Lanka, we arrived at the Aga Surf View to stay for 7 days. THis experience was absolutely perfect. Indi and his team are the nicest people. There are only 5 bungalows and ours was super comfortable, quiet and well decorated. The pool is warm (I love it !) and the chef of the restaurant knows how to cook to please his customers. The food had a Sri Lankan touch without without being too spicy. I still remember the taste of the tuna fished the same morning. So if you are near Tangalle in the south, just book the Aga Surf View.

This boutique hotel right on the beach is really fabulous! The food and service are amazing and I want to give a particular shout out to the chef Wasana and the waiter Rukshan and the manager Indika. It is also really stylish, reminiscent of the Balearics. I particularly love the sinks in the bathroom upstairs! Real attention to interior design detail and the owner has a fabulous eye for low key effortless cool. Great music vibes as well all on a fabulous beach.

Peaceful and quiet and large comfortable rooms which are well maintained by staff. Restaurant is wonderful with great fresh food, strong coffee and kitchen ready to please. The manager, Indi, is kind and attentive, always giving 110%. We were so lucky to spend 7 days in this magical place. The Aga Surf has many interesting antique details and the architect did a wonderful job of understanding the space and making it comfortable and beautiful.
