Had a wonderful stay at The Change Hotel Kandy. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The view was absolutely stunning waking up to the breathtaking Kandy scenery was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

A lovely hotel with a great vibe created by the owner. It’s located away from busy Kandy, which is actually a big plus after the noise and crowds of the town. Very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was good and freshly prepared, and there is a nice, small swimming pool that’s perfect for unwinding. A great place to stay if you’re looking for calm and comfort.

Very friendly stuff, the common area is also super nice. Dinner was delicious (grilled chicken).
Room was spacious. Was missing a bed side table and a bit more sockets. It’s also a bit difficult to get there.

This isn't a hotel. It's a backpacker hostel. Everything is very dilapidated, there's mold and mildew on the walls. Furthermore, the electricity keeps going out, and a gas generator is running under the windows, causing noise and the stench of exhaust fumes. It's far out of town and hard to get there even for a local driver with a navigation system. The only positive is the view from the window. I don't recommend it.

We arrived at 8pm after our original accomodation fell through. Staff were able to accomodate us and made up a second room.
We swam in the pool and enjoyed the beautiful views from the balconies. Balcony doors did swing open/close a bit.
Breakfast was a good size - not too large like some others we had. It was the same on both days.
A bit outside Kandy and up some windy hills if you’re driving yourself.
Cash payment is preferred.

Parking at the place is very difficult. Pool is not clean. Manager is very rude, didnt communicate well with customers.

Fantastic Hotel, close to city center of Kandy. The staff on spot is very kind and helpful. Making a perfect home away from home. Recommended!
