This hotel is among the worst hotels I've ever stayed at!
Let's start with the fact that we arrived at this hotel on my birthday.
Even though there was no line, we waited over 40 minutes to check in (we arrived at the hotel at 5:00 PM).
After 40 minutes, the reception staff started checking us in. At first, they couldn't find our paid reservation for a long time, but then they did. I expected the receptionist to see my date of birth in my passport and wish me a happy birthday, but no any words! The staff was inattentive.
We arrived at our room, and it was a complete mess.
A dirty, smudged mirror, a small table with red stains from some bottles, and so on. The entire room was filthy.
Naturally, we went to the reception desk to change rooms.
When I arrived, I told the receptionist I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a clean room and asked for a room change.
They changed our room, of course, but never said happy birthday. I just wish they'd said, "Happy birthday, Mom."
They changed our room for one even worse than the first.
The room was just as dirty; there wasn't even a small table in this room. The plumbing was broken.
The hotel is in a good location.
The staff is poor (inattentive and indifferent).
The rooms are dirty.
I will never come back here again and I will never recommend this terrible hotel.

Hotel is up in the hills. Outdoor view was ok. Check in experience was very good. Pool was small

Excellent hotel with a great location, not far from the train station to Ella. The facilities are a bit old, but it's clean and cozy!

When I booked a suite they got back to me the next day and said the suite wasn’t available so I stayed at a deluxe and they comp with breakfast which wasn’t great
Room was not clean, the bath had mold and the faucet tap was dirty and the shower tap was broken
Bed smelled perhaps the bed or the floor and the pillows weren’t smelling good either. I wore a mask to sleep

Nice stay and we opted half board . Dinner and breakfast was good . Rooms are clean . Well slept

Nice pleasant hotel away from the hustle and bustul of kandy town, just far enough, but not too far. Clean, pleasant, and as to be expected for a top-tier hotel. Can't complain about anything in particular, nor can I think that particularly stood out.

Hotel was prepared and ready for my arrival. Had issues with connection to wifi so had to contact the reception.
No hairdryer in room and had to request this even though it should’ve been there already.
Ordered room service, it came cold and items forgotten from order even though order was repeated back to me on the phone.
Breakfast was average for a Radisson. Seating options strange with big long tables reserved for groups rather than small families, couples and singles.
Tuktuk touts waiting outside hotel to pester you for your destination.
It was clean for the most part and well needed after a long day of travel but I wouldn’t return. Not sure how this hotel is #1 in Kandy but I was left feeling disappointed.

The room had a strange smell, like body odor mixed with perfume. I couldn't quite place it. Breakfast was good, and the location was convenient.

Perched high above Kandy, the hotel offers fantastic views overlooking Kandy Lake. The facilities are standard for a Radisson, and the service is excellent. Breakfast was superb! In the evening, sitting on the small balcony, gazing at Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Tooth Relic, was incredibly relaxing.

Nice hotel in a good peaceful and convenient location for central Kandy and nearby attractions like Temple of the Buddha Tooth.
