A charming and bright hotel, with a few areas for improvement…
I stayed at Dumbara Peak Residence in Kandy, a very lovely hotel inside, tastefully decorated and offering a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
Access can be a bit challenging if you have heavy suitcases, as the hotel is on the 2nd floor, accessible via a rather narrow corridor. Fortunately, someone came to help us carry our luggage up to the room, a truly appreciated gesture, but the space remains narrow and could be a challenge depending on your gear.
The room was very beautiful, bright, and clean – truly charming. However, the bed was too small for someone who is 1m90 (6'3") like me; I had to sleep diagonally to be comfortable. This is an important point that could be improved for the comfort of taller guests…
The welcome was very friendly: we were offered a fresh fruit juice upon arrival, which is always nice after a journey. The place is quiet and offers a tranquil ambiance.
Overall, a beautiful hotel with lovely charm, a good welcome, and a soothing environment. With a few adjustments, it could be even better.

The room smelled moldy and the floors were dirty. The bathroom smelled even worse. The bath towels were stained and torn. The Wi-Fi was slow. The rooms were also on the same floor as the reception, which made it noisy.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Temple of the Tooth Relic, and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff were also friendly.

It says there's parking, but in reality, there isn't. For the price, the hotel is okay; modest but clean.

The location was great.
It was close to the station and bus stop, and just a short walk from the Temple of the Tooth, a World Heritage Site.
After a quick beer at the rooftop bar, I went for a stroll and enjoyed a relaxing trip.
There was soap and a small shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, but since we were overseas, there were no toothbrushes.^^
The hotel was fairly clean, but there were only narrow stairs and no elevator. Please be careful if you're bringing large luggage.

This hotel was very comfortable, with a refrigerator, air conditioner, in-room shower, towels, and even a hairdryer provided.
I was happy that there was a refrigerator so I could chill alcohol I bought outside.
It's also close to Kandy Station and faces a main road, so it's easily accessible.

Normal for a couple of nights. Not far from the Temple of the Tooth. Comfortable beds, standard breakfast.
Of the disadvantages - there was, but suddenly ran out of hot water. There was no kettle in the room, but for one day it is not critical
