Had the most amazing vegetarian buffet with internal and external dining. The host even played the guitar and sang for us with a sore throat. Good amazing and staff lovely. Thanks again ☺️

Amazing place for having dinner! We ate a super delicious meal, containing soup, rice, and various vegetable/fruit curries, with explanation what we eat, and super sweet bananas and watermelon for desert. It is not expensive and the level of spiciness is low, so it is suitable for all european/western tourist. The owner speaks very good English and loves to enteract with guests. He also played the guitar to make the atmosphere even more magical. Thank you! Greetings from Slovenia

I shared this hotel with a fellow backpacker I met locally. It's a good place if you just need a place to sleep.
The Wi-Fi is weak on the upper floors, and you have to walk uphill to get to the hotel.
However, it has good access to Kandy city center, and I liked being able to walk along the lakeshore. Also, I happened to see an elephant on the way there and was given a ride, so I was very happy.

I had a very pleasant stay at Sharon Inn. The hotel is well located, with panoramic views over Kandy from the rooftop. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are welcoming and professional. The traditional Sri Lankan dinner was excellent - authentic, and well prepared. A truly peaceful and well managed place that offers great value for money.

Room was spacious and good. They did not care about the guests or checkin or check out. The owner was zoned out and did not care for our questions. I thanked him and he didn’t even look at me or say anything.

We had dinner at the restaurant which was a great evening. The food was delicious and the host played guitar. We then had a TukTuk tour the next day. The driver was really friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much to ask. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is very old, renovated, furnished, and everything else. The only positives are its close proximity to the train and bus stations, and the price.

Pros: hot water, sometimes boiling, and thick, fluffy towels. Clean bedding, mirrors, and countertops.
