terrible, was very disappointed. paid for hot water and aircon, received neither. Service was unsatisfactory, very rude. There was many broken things like (broken taps,mold on beds and pillows) when we asked to get these fixed we were told we were “complaining” and if we didn’t like the place we could leave. When we were at the hotel and talking to the man about the bad reviews, he told us that none of these people were in the system who actually stayed at the villa. These are all lies, don’t believe them. He doesn’tcare about the guests, only about the business and the money he gets. Do not recommend, will not be going back.

Didn’t stay here so can’t comment on rooms but glad we didn’t. Turned up with our booking and they told us they were closed. We had booking confirmation etc but they said they were closed and our room wasn’t clean so we couldn’t stay. The men outside seemed rude so we left and went to the next one down the road and it’s much nicer with much kinder owners!

Nice room, not huge but big enough. Bed was comfy and the best water pressure and lots of real hot water . Not far from the lake as well. The only issue which s out of the hotels control, is a dog next door barks all the time.

Unsafe, Unpleasant, and Misleading – Avoid This Guest House 🔴🔴🔴
Our experience at VINO VILLA in Kandy was extremely disappointing and unsafe. Upon arrival, we found that the owners were keeping their dog in an empty guest room. The entire second floor had a strong, unpleasant dog smell.
Things took a serious turn when the dog entered our room and bit my husband on the leg. He had to be hospitalized overnight. Despite this, the owners showed no concern, offered no help, and took no responsibility for what happened. They didn’t even offer to cover any part of the medical expenses.
Shockingly, the next morning they still demanded full payment for both rooms we had booked. The rooms themselves were outdated and uncomfortable, and the service was unprofessional (no Ac remote to operate AC in AC ROOMS)
Their service was very poor.
Please Don’t take any risk for your lives 🔴🔴🔴
Overall, the location was unpleasant and the stay was stressful. I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.🔴🔴🔴

The guys that run this hotel are so cute! They have the biggest smile and really look after their guests. The view is lovely and you get to see it from all the rooms, they all have a patio. Breakfast with said view was amazing. Recommended!
