Worst experience. Very rude staff and a owner who does not know the definition of hospitality. He has the audacity to racially abuse his guests. Also threatens guests and denies simple amenities. He is a clear RIP OFF who refuses to pay the money when you want to cancel the booking. The man is piss drunk and is about to man handle his guests. He does not even care if you are a family.
About the hotel, it stinks like a pigs sty and the sheets are super dirty. I decided to write about my experience and searched around other reviews most of them are fake and written by their own people. Whoever has written negative counts and they all are one and the same.
If you want to get a SUPER BAD experience on a holiday please book a room.

The host will rip you off. Everything costs extra, even the Air Conditioning in my room. I'm surprised he didn't charge me for the air I breathed.

it was a wonderful place to live the view from hotel was outstanding and mesmerising the whole town was visible the staff's were very friendly and welcoming

We stayed at Tamarind Tree Inn in Kandy, and I absolutely loved it. The owner, Mrs. Tushara, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The view of the mountains from our room was breathtaking, and everything inside the room was neat and spotless. For anyone looking for a peaceful and genuine place to stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A simple but cute place. I'm not sure what some of the photos represent; in reality, it's not as impressive, partly because we discovered it had moved; it's now a bit earlier on the same street (so be careful when looking for it). The hostess is lovely and prepares a delicious breakfast; her husband is also super friendly. The rooms and bathroom are comfortable and clean, and it's a 10-minute walk from the station, very convenient. The only downside is the lack of Wi-Fi (but that's what we found in almost every place we stayed).

We stayed in a double room, which, including the bathroom, was almost 30 square meters. It was clean and hygienic. If you're looking for a family-style villa experience, it's a 5-minute walk downhill to downtown, close to the train station (a 5-minute taxi ride), and about the same distance from CMB and Colombo airports. The host was very polite and seemed to have someone specifically responsible for hygiene and food (you can order food at the restaurant). Furthermore, it was great value for money; an English breakfast for less than 200 RMB was a steal!

The location is halfway up the mountain on the edge of Galle City, and the location is not easy to find. There is a steep slope from the road to the hotel.
The hostess is very enthusiastic and has a great attitude!
There is only one available jack in the room, the supplies are old, and the hygiene is average.
Breakfast is sandwich + orange juice + tea or coffee.
It was only after we left that we discovered that the room type we stayed in was different from the one we actually stayed in.

Accommodating host
Senaka was a lovely host and we had a good time during our stay. Breakfast was good. The only downside was there was a mix up with the booking when we arrived so we were unsure if the room was ready for us. Some more signage or instructions to the location would have helped as we arrived at night and struggled to find it. Senaka the host was very accommodating and took us for a day trip wherever we wanted to go for a fair fee.
