Very Disappointed with the Hotel Management

I’m extremely disappointed with the management of this hotel. The staff were unorganized, rude, and completely unhelpful. even after complaining several times, nothing was done. The manager didn’t seem to care at all about guests’ comfort.

The manager was rude when I asked for assistance and seemed more interested in arguing than solving the problem.

The hotel facilities might look good in pictures, but poor management completely ruins the experience.
They will not provide any beverage not even drinking water ….
For the price I paid, the service was unacceptable. I’ll never stay here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Horrible Experience – Disrespectful staff and Zero Hospitality….. Our experience at Bluewater Beach Resort was absolutely terrible. We had booked the stay through a phone call and even paid an advance, expecting a pleasant experience. But from the moment we arrived, we were met with complete disrespect. The person in charge was unbelievably rude and spoke to us as if we were staying there for free.

We had travelled all the way from Kandy, exhausted and looking forward to a relaxing stay but instead, this person ruined our entire day. Throughout the conversation, he repeatedly told us, “If you don’t like it, you can leave,” showing zero professionalism or basic manners. It was shocking and extremely disrespectful.

Eventually, we decided to leave the place immediately rather than tolerate such behavior, just to keep our dignity. I have stayed in many hotels before, but I have never encountered such a rude, unwelcoming attitude anywhere else.

To anyone planning a trip to Nilaveli or Trincomalee, please avoid Bluewater Beach Resort at all costs. This place has no sense of hospitality, no respect for guests, and the management seriously needs to learn what customer service means.

I’m really disappointed with the hospitality at Blue Water Beach Resort. One of the staff members treated us very poorly, showing no professionalism or respect. The way he handled us was completely unacceptable for a place that’s supposed to make guests feel welcome. Such behavior leaves a very bad impression and ruins what could have been a pleasant experience. We thought the management would take it in a proper way and guide them and they've failed in it even.Simply the worst place to stay . And they should clearly understand that guests are the guests and not school kids . of course we are ready to follow their rules ,but there is a proper way to handle a guest . Simply they have wasted 2 hours of time in our two days trip .

Absolutely the worst experience ever at Blue Water Beach Resort. I’ve never encountered such disgusting and disrespectful behavior from a staff member anywhere else. The attendant’s attitude was completely unacceptable — he spoke to me and my friends in a harsh, rude, and insulting manner, using words that no professional should ever use toward guests.

We came to enjoy a relaxing day, but instead, we were met with arrogance and zero hospitality. It was shocking to see how badly they treat visitors. This place clearly has no respect for customers, whether local or foreign.

I strongly advise everyone , locals and tourists alike not to visit this resort. There are plenty of better places nearby where you’ll be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Blue Water Beach Resort has completely lost its dignity and hospitality standards.

The place is not so clean with stains on the bedsheet, and black spots around electric outlets. The facilities are visibly old.
The staff is rude to us and not welcoming/understanding at all. They are very inflexible. At the check-out, they declined even to let us keep our luggages for a few more hours (which won't change anything for them but could save us from walking around with the luggages). We were also forbidden from the common area once checked out at 10am. In their own word, "now you checked out, the rule is that you have to leave the entire hotel area". We had to eventually leave and find another hotel where we can keep our luggage and stay until we leave Trinco. In a word, we didn't feel respected or taken care of at all by the hotel. This is the very worst experience we had from in hotels/guesthouses in Sri Lanka.
