Was very disappointed and upset for charging us for minibar where we didn’t consumed ( CHF 35 after we checked out) despite letting them know. They insisted we consumed soft drinks and can’t share exactly what drinks we had. After staying at many 5 stars hotels worldwide, we have never encountered such an issue. This is an established hotel with a fantastic location and unbeatable views from its lake view rooms. The rooms, however, are a bit dated in design, and the facilities aren't the most modern. Breakfast was satisfactory, and the service was quite attentive. Considering Swiss prices, it offers very good value for money.

The Spa Villa Sassa is a luxury hotel located in Lugano, Switzerland. Very good, very good, very good. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The reception even provides adapters, which is great. Very friendly. The swimming pool and gym are also good, and the breakfast is good too. Everything is great.

The hotel's biggest draw is its two indoor and outdoor pools! Right in front of the hotel are a bus stop, the Monte Bray cable car station, and two large supermarkets. Lake Lugano is a 10-minute walk away! The breakfast was excellent, and the service was quite friendly. The only drawback was that there were only a few tissues, and the conditioner left clumps. Was it expired?

Nice room, modern furniture and interior design. Good value for money

The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very modern. The minibar was free! The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food in the lobby was excellent, with generous portions! The outdoor pool and ping-pong table were perfect for the kids. The hotel is also conveniently located, with a bus directly to the train station, making taxis even easier!

This is a very good hotel. The room is clean and well equipped.

Overall good value for money. Good breakfast with smoked salmon, scrambled egg, sausages and various type of cheeses. Breakfast on weekend could be very crowded but food was replenished fast. Nice pool and gym for some exercise. Close to the lake and public transport.

Very nice hotel. The view from our room was incredible and the room was very large and nice. Essentially an apartment. The hotel has a couple of restaurants we did not make it to and a cool bar with a great view. There is a train station pretty close by, but you do need to go up and down a big hill to get to anything if walking.

Hotel a little out of the main centre but only takes ten minutes to walk there. Near a bus stop to the station. Everything felt new and efficient. Room quite expensive, maybe because there aren't lots of hotels in Lugano. Room itself was sizable.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on business. It's centrally located, about 5-10 minutes from the lake. Garage parking is available, but the entrance is very steep and narrow. It's easily manageable with a regular car, but with a large car it's difficult and only suitable for good drivers, which is why the price (CHF 20) for a parking space is quite high. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean. The morning buffet had a huge selection. The only drawback was that we were able to have a nightcap at the bar two evenings. On the third evening, they said that wasn't possible. (Someone else from the staff was there.) 🤷♀️. We would choose this hotel again anytime!

The hotel offers everything you need. A great breakfast buffet with very attentive and extremely friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, three bus stops from the center of Lugano (or a 10-minute walk), and good value for money. We highly recommend it!

The hotel is amazing. Great location, beautiful rooms and it was the best breakfast we had during our 15 days trip. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a special touch as it was super strong and the towels would dry fast. I will recommend to everyone I can as it was a great experience.

Nice rooms, but hard bed. The town itself is simply shopping at high end places so we won’t be back. Beautiful scenery though.

We had a great stay. We were warmly greeted when we arrived. It was a cute little apartment centrally located. Good location clean comfortable bed and very quiet. The staff was very helpful and we will definitely stay here next time we come to Lugano.

Incredible and great value for money, in centre of Lugano - top notch apartment and cleanliness, cleaned daily and everything you need and more- Only thing I would say is only 4 small side plates in kitchen, no sharp knife for bread etc and the tv's - unless you know how to navigate in the last customer's language its hard to use-but in such a beautiful place its not important! This location was perfect! It was close to all of the shopping, the lake, restaurants, etc. And it felt so private going up an elevator to only our suite. Loved it!
