My dream holiday was in Villa Sassa. Incredible view. Delicious and various breakfast (also with healthy and gluten free options). Great SPA, even with group sport activities. Coach lady is very cheerful and positive. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Recommend 🙂

First-class service, good location, traditional luxury hotel style, but the facilities are old, such as elevators and furniture. But overall still very satisfied 👍

Perfect stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very delicious with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better.

A very nice hotel. The interior is decorated in Art Deco style.It’s about 30-40 minutes walk to the center of Lugano We had a room on the top floor with a beautiful view. In the evenings, you can enjoy a drink and listen to live music. Breakfast was also very good. The guests were mostly older people.

We were given a very warm welcome by Francesca. She is an excellent asset for this hotel. She was very informative and interesting to talk to.  The hotel pool was great. Thank you Breakfast was excellent. The best we have had in a hotel for a while. A wide range of food.

The hotel's biggest draw is its two indoor and outdoor pools! Right in front of the hotel are a bus stop, the Monte Bray cable car station, and two large supermarkets. Lake Lugano is a 10-minute walk away! The breakfast was excellent, and the service was quite friendly. The only drawback was that there were only a few tissues, and the conditioner left clumps. Was it expired?

Hotel 5 minutes from Paradiso station and 2 steps from the lake and public transport stops that take you to the center (free with the Ticino ticket provided by the hotel), otherwise the center is only 20 minutes away taking advantage of the beautiful walk on the lake. Nice room, modern furniture and interior design. Good value for money

The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very modern. The minibar was free! The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food in the lobby was excellent, with generous portions! The outdoor pool and ping-pong table were perfect for the kids. The hotel is also conveniently located, with a bus directly to the train station, making taxis even easier!

This is a very good hotel. The room is clean and well equipped.

Overall good value for money. Good breakfast with smoked salmon, scrambled egg, sausages and various type of cheeses. Breakfast on weekend could be very crowded but food was replenished fast. Nice pool and gym for some exercise. Close to the lake and public transport.

We really enjoyed our stay at Luganodante. It's location can't be beat - very central to all things within Lugano, beautiful short walk to the lake front. The included breakfast was superb, and the staff was very helpful. The included soft drinks in the minibar were a great added bonus. Only compliant would the rooms were a bit small and the air conditioning did not get significantly cold at night...

Very nice hotel. The view from our room was incredible and the room was very large and nice. Essentially an apartment. The hotel has a couple of restaurants we did not make it to and a cool bar with a great view. There is a train station pretty close by, but you do need to go up and down a big hill to get to anything if walking.

Lugano is a beautiful place and this hotel was in a gorgeous location perched on a hill. The staff were helpful with directions to and from sights. The room itself was nice and spacious and felt clean. It was not cheap but the again most things in Switzerland are not cheap. The only disappointment was the toilet seat in the bathroom was an improper fit- it was too small for the bowl and was not stable...

The hotel is a treasure that I accidentally booked. It has teppanyaki, a swimming pool, a steam room, and the scenery when I eat in the morning is also beautiful.

This hotel is located on a hillside above the Paradiso train station. It is best to take a bus or a taxi to get up there. It is difficult to go up the slope with luggage. The house price is not cheap, but the value is quite high and the view is first-class. The daily rent of more than three hundred Swiss francs is reasonable. The hotel itself could use a refresh in that it’s a little tired, but the staff were great and the room was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with our first room (a bad smell) and they changed and upgraded the room without question. They were also happy to store our bicycles while we were there.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Internationale du Lac. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location can’t be beat for walking along the lake and general atmosphere. Beautiful amazing hotel near the lake. Upon check in, we were informed that we had been upgraded for our stay to a lake view room. Staff was very friendly, they helped us to get a taxi upon departure. Breakfast was great and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at the Parkhotel Principe and was very satisfied. The service was excellent, the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming and everything was perfect. The hotel facilities were very good and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back and can only recommend the hotel!

The rooms, like other Ibis hotels, were quite small. The front desk was cramped, but the staff were fairly friendly. The location was okay, a short walk to the lake. It was close to the pier, but a bit far if you're going to explore the old town. The room rate was a bit expensive, and parking was also quite pricey.

The hotel was in center, perfect location. Clean and tidy. Amenities were provided such as sewing kit, ear buds etc. Coffee machine with coffee pods are well appreciated. And plus a chocolate as a gift at check in. All was superb. Besides breakfast. It was poor.

It’s on the north side of the train station. We initially exited the station from the south, but then we realized we had gone the wrong way. In fact, there is a direct elevator to the north exit and you can walk there. Beautiful building, nice rooms, rich breakfast.

I think it's the best value for money in Lugano, trains nearbyby are frequent but quieter than US. Bed was hard and I would suggest bringing your own pillow. Staff were ecellent and friendly and the breakfast was limited but fairly priced. It's a difficult uphill, upstair walk from the lake so be in shape.

Timeless summer spot Perfect location in Lugano. The hotel is definitely a bit dated and aged, but in that nice summer holiday family vibe, not bad at all. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms could definitely benefit from a few more little amenities like extra pillows, a safe, etc.

A little outside of the downtown area, but a short Uber ride away. My room had a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains and lovely balcony. Very clean, friendly staff and air-conditioning that was a big relief on a hot, humid June day.

The room was very clean, but overall had the basic necessities needed to get by. There were no charging ports by the bed, which meant we had to charge our phones by the sink (an active water outlet) which was a health and safety hazard. Incredible and great value for money, in centre of Lugano - top notch apartment and cleanliness, cleaned daily and everything you need and more- Only thing I would say is only 4 small side plates in kitchen, no sharp knife for bread etc and the tv's - unless you know how to navigate in the last customer's language its hard to use-but in such a beautiful place its not important! This location was perfect! It was close to all of the shopping, the lake, restaurants, etc. And it felt so private going up an elevator to only our suite. Loved it!

Staff! Due to a landslide caused by heavy rains, our party of 4 was stuck in Milan with no way to get back to Lugano. Hotel staff arrange a taxi to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel when all transpiration options were overtaxed and expensive. The staff literally saved us from a very difficult circumstance.

The staff took care of our every need. Special thanks for 5 star service from Luigi’s and Elisa! Elisa saved us from being stranded in Italy after the trains were cancelled and no other transportation in Milan could be found. Thanks

It is in a very noisy part of the city. No air conditioning, but if you open the windows for air, the noise from outside is so loud, you are unable to sleep.

Hotel a little out of the main centre but only takes ten minutes to walk there. Near a bus stop to the station. Everything felt new and efficient. Room quite expensive, maybe because there aren't lots of hotels in Lugano. Room itself was sizable.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on business. It's centrally located, about 5-10 minutes from the lake. Garage parking is available, but the entrance is very steep and narrow. It's easily manageable with a regular car, but with a large car it's difficult and only suitable for good drivers, which is why the price (CHF 20) for a parking space is quite high. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean. The morning buffet had a huge selection. The only drawback was that we were able to have a nightcap at the bar two evenings. On the third evening, they said that wasn't possible. (Someone else from the staff was there.) 🤷♀️. We would choose this hotel again anytime!
