Very nice hotel. The view from our room was incredible and the room was very large and nice. Essentially an apartment. The hotel has a couple of restaurants we did not make it to and a cool bar with a great view. There is a train station pretty close by, but you do need to go up and down a big hill to get to anything if walking.

The hotel is a treasure that I accidentally booked. It has teppanyaki, a swimming pool, a steam room, and the scenery when I eat in the morning is also beautiful.

This is an established hotel with a fantastic location and unbeatable views from its lake view rooms. The rooms, however, are a bit dated in design, and the facilities aren't the most modern. A luxury hotel with an ancient style, good maintenance in a public area, we stayed in the ancient building, a clean room but furniture needs updating. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very modern. The minibar was free! The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food in the lobby was excellent, with generous portions! The outdoor pool and ping-pong table were perfect for the kids. The hotel is also conveniently located, with a bus directly to the train station, making taxis even easier!

This is a very good hotel. The room is clean and well equipped.

Overall good value for money. Good breakfast with smoked salmon, scrambled egg, sausages and various type of cheeses. Breakfast on weekend could be very crowded but food was replenished fast. Nice pool and gym for some exercise. Close to the lake and public transport.

The hotel's biggest draw is its two indoor and outdoor pools! Right in front of the hotel are a bus stop, the Monte Bray cable car station, and two large supermarkets. Lake Lugano is a 10-minute walk away! The breakfast was excellent, and the service was quite friendly. The only drawback was that there were only a few tissues, and the conditioner left clumps. Was it expired?

Hotel 5 minutes from Paradiso station and 2 steps from the lake and public transport stops that take you to the center (free with the Ticino ticket provided by the hotel), otherwise the center is only 20 minutes away taking advantage of the beautiful walk on the lake. The hotel itself could use a refresh in that it’s a little tired, but the staff were great and the room was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with our first room (a bad smell) and they changed and upgraded the room without question. They were also happy to store our bicycles while we were there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Luganodante. It's location can't be beat - very central to all things within Lugano, beautiful short walk to the lake front. The included breakfast was superb, and the staff was very helpful. The included soft drinks in the minibar were a great added bonus. It’s on the north side of the train station. We initially exited the station from the south, but then we realized we had gone the wrong way. In fact, there is a direct elevator to the north exit and you can walk there. Beautiful building, nice rooms, rich breakfast.

I think it's the best value for money in Lugano, trains nearbyby are frequent but quieter than US. Bed was hard and I would suggest bringing your own pillow. Staff were ecellent and friendly and the breakfast was limited but fairly priced. It's a difficult uphill, upstair walk from the lake so be in shape.

A little outside of the downtown area, but a short Uber ride away. My room had a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains and lovely balcony. Very clean, friendly staff and air-conditioning that was a big relief on a hot, humid June day.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Internationale du Lac. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location can’t be beat for walking along the lake and general atmosphere. I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The good points were its excellent location. My room was on the lakeside, with a balcony and a beautiful view. The heating was good. The bad points were that it's surprising how a hotel in such a beautiful building and location could be so poor. The curtain in the room was sticking out of the curtain rod, the bathroom was very old, the shower system was broken...

Not speaking the language, we were helped with parking and other arrangements. In addition to an excellent welcome, the hotel is traditional and charming. Ideally located with breathtaking views of Lake Lugano.

Amazing Amazing stay at Bigatt. Staff, room and breakfast were amazing. The view from the balcony was also really beautiful! The only downside is that you need to catch a bus to access downtown, so you need to plan ahead a little bit. But honestly, that didn't bother us. I truly recommend staying at Bigatt if you are ever in Lugano.

The hotel was in an absolutely stunning location. It was wonderful to wake up with the sunrise gently touching our faces and to step straight out into the morning sun for a walk along the lake. The room was nice and clean. The only two things I'd point out was the shower head, which was just terrible, please change it and the green light shining right next to your head when in the bed. Otherwise great service for a good price.

Good service even if they missed my second order, they proposed to change it but I refused. I got two times the fried dishes, the fritto del conventino and the fritto misto, both well done. We had a spectacular dinner here. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the restaurant is in a beautifully decorated setting. All the food was prepared with fresh local ingredients.
