There is need for much better description of exactly where the ramp is to walk down with luggage from the train. This hotel is located in a very convenient location for travelers. A short walk from the beautiful train station, and moments via funiculare to town center. Faced a couple of issues when some people decided to smoke in their room at night and the fire alarm went off. Nice hotel for a ***. My room was a bit small but the mattress was very comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, and the shower was really good. Breakfast was also good with a really nice selection of Swiss cheeses. I liked the general atmosphere of the hotel, very Swiss in some way.

Really good deal! Next to the station so was very very practical for all our activities. Just a few minutes walking to the center of Lugano or with the funicular. Nice and clean hotel..near lugano lake

Love the staff cuz he is not from Lugano and has no guidance for us tourist. Great service because the staff was talking 1 hour with one customer that needs that room they forgot to reserve at 1am. Then there is this woman constantly talking with the staff telling her life while im thirsty for water and cannot get served. Excellent service comme again.

Clean, neat and new. Good breakfast. About 1km walk into the main centre of the town but not an issue as it’s a lively walk along the lake. The hotel is also very close to the venicular railway to the top of the mountain, so worth a visit

Very pleasant location near lake shore and boats stop. There is free parking for visitpre which is very convenient. Staff on welcoming deal are amazing. we stayed in Budget On us. Well it is not for anyone. I get idea of budget accommodation but do not really agree with paying over 100 GBP for stay for 3 for one night. Although my daughter was thrilled with her bed bridging over master bed.

When I first arrived at Lugano train station, I followed the navigation... Oh my god, looking down from the hillside, and pulling the luggage... The zigzag stairs made it really tiring to walk to the hotel... After checking in, I found that there was a cable car going up and down in the train station... It was immediately accessible... I was sweating all over my back... I wondered why no one told me...

It is a little far from the train station, about 600 meters. The way up to the reception is a series of stairs, which requires a lot of effort to carry large luggage. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom is good.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was good and rich. Has its own paid parking lot. After looking for the air conditioner remote control for a long time, it turned out to be posted on the wall near the door. The attitude of the front desk is very good. If you need to delay check-out for special reasons, it is easy to communicate.

The hotel is next to the railway station tracks. The bed was vibrating at night and I couldn't sleep at all. The room was very old and had a strong smell. The only advantage is that there is breakfast, which is not bad for Switzerland.

Good hotel. Clean rooms, pets allowed. Beautiful terrace. Good breakfast with big buffet. Restaurant in hotel also cook well. What i did not like: ▪︎bed was from 2 small beds, not 1 full big bed.. ▪︎in room was no kettle or coffee mashine, so every time need to go to restaurant. ▪︎ no bath tub in room.

A really friendly hotel and personal with a family sphere and a great view over Lugano. Nicolas one of the clerks was really helpful and nice! Rooms are clean and big. There is airco and really good wiffi. The breakfast has an awesome variety (gluten free, vegan etc). There is a nice pool too! From the restaurant the spaghetti pesto and ravioli are highly recommended! We would recommend this hotel...

We were lucky enough to be some of the very first guests. Excellent service, incredible business principles and great breakfast served on the beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. quiet private pool overlooking vineyard behind. Very hard to beat value for money in Lugano. We wish them all the best with their new journey and congratulate them on the renovations and hard work.

Best place to stay for couples, very close to the shore of lake Lugano. Wonderful breakfast for an affordable price. Nice and friendly staff, the only frustration was with opening the door with the fancy lock system 😇. We stayed here during the Easter time, they even tried us with complimentry Easter Cake 😋

My family and I booked two nights in this hotel.. Everything was perfect for us we did not face any issues. Someone in below comment mentioned a noisy club but I did not here any noise from any club. Location 10/10 Breakfast 6/10 Air conditioning 9/10 Bathroom 10/10 Beds 9/10

The hotel is just great. It is located right on Lake Lugano. Within a walking distance from Lugano's best parts and center. Place is very quiet and the crew is helpful and friendly. Parking on the street needs no payment 19:00 to 7:00 working days and it is 1 frank an hour. If you get up in time and have a lake view room you can enjoy a great sunrise over Lake Lugano.

Great location, great service, great cleaning. It is great that it has AC for warm nights. Receiving the TicinoCard for free trains/buses and discounts is great. Wifi can be better.

We enjoyed are stay at this hotel. The room was very simple but good enough. The hotel is close to the lac which is great. We were also able to borrow bikes for free at the hotel. We definitely enjoyed using bikes for discovering the city. It was also possible to play table tennis on the terrasse of the hotel. We have been satisfied with the breakfast of the hotel.

We slept one night in hotel colorado. The hotel was very beautiful and clean. Restroom were clean and nice Breakfast was delicious. Overall we had a good night in here. We were alone in this hotel I think so that was a good experience ☺ But the water was a little yellow at first It was allright because after few seconds the water was clean again. The hotel manager was super friendly and gave us all the information needed about what to do in Lugano. The rooms were fresh and newly renovated (except for the bathroom) with comfortable beds. Unfortunately the shower did not have a curtain so the entire bathroom floor would get soaked after a shower, and remain soaked for several hours due to poor airflow. Nonetheless, the room's WiFi was super fast...

Fantastic location, vibrant and historic city center, outstanding service, great breakfast, unique rooms and great value for money. No reason to stay at the much more expensive 5 stars in Lugano...fantastic hotel.
