Welcome to Paradise - Great Price Value

We have known this property since the early beginnings. First time was in 2015. We saw several managers come and go.

This month, the hotel was reopened by a lovely British/Tanzanian couple and they are here to stay.

It has only 12 rooms and you have a great view. Garden is beautiful and chickens are running around. This is a place where you can really relax.

The rooms are big and clean. Aircon is working well and you have a fridge in the room. The pool area is just fantastic. The new staff is very friendly.

Breakfast is very good. You have a lot of different options you can choose from.

Chicken curry and enchiladas are highly recommended for lunch or dinner. The South African white wine for 25 bucks per bottle is excellent. Local beers cost 4 bucks.

Compared to other nearby accommodations, it has a very good price/value ratio. The best Italian restaurant in the whole of Zanzibar is also just 150 metres away.

Kiwengwa Beach is amazing and it is a short walk to the sandbank when there is low tide.

Very nice hotel! The owner especially. They helped us with everything, organizing tours, giving tips, getting the transfers. Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. Super close to the beach, they even have their own beach bar!

The perfect place for an authentic Zanzibar experience!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and were more than happy with our experience!

The food is delicious, the rooms are very spacious and the staff are super friendly. This small, typical hotel is located in an authentic village, with a private beach just a 1-minute walk away. This may seem surprising at first glance, but in reality the place is more than safe and the villagers are exceptionally friendly.

A special mention to Frank, the manager, and Mada and Tudor, the owners, who were absolutely adorable. Thank you for all your advice, anecdotes and 10/10 service. Having you on a daily basis was a real pleasure!

Virginia and her staff are amazing! so accommodating and kind. The beds were comfy. the food was great, i could've eaten the chicken curry for every meal. It's not waterfront, although you can see the ocean. it's a 2 min walk through the village to the shorefront bar. Locals were friendly and not pushy when it came to selling their wares and tours. The low tide goes out you can wander to find starfish.
