PP Ingphu Viewpoint in Phi Phi Island

I appreciate that it's a dirt cheap accommodation option, but it must be one of the worst options in all of Phi Phi. It's right next to a Party Hostel so it's noisy as hell at night. My room was 90 steps up through jungle hillside, very uneventful, very very unsafe. White bags of flour just dumped outside my room. Two great big boulders in the bathroom that cover the showering space floor so you have to stand with your legs spread on either side of great big rocks (I'm talking to rocks as wide as Space Hoppers). Aircon was okay. It's about 10 minutes steep walk uphill out of the main town.

Honestly it was horrible. The Island is beautiful, but this is the worst accommodation option I think I've ever chosen, anywhere.

Girl on reception was lovely. That's the only good thing I have to say.

The other staff would congregate outside my room on breaks laughing and giggling. Bleurgh.

Decent little rooms, bathroom facilities can be improved and the room have air con but you need to play extra 500b a night just for remote which is just not fair and should be included in the booking.

We stayed two nights and booked online. At first sight it looks good and it definitely is not 3 stars, but rather 1! The breakfast was a total joke, it is only toast with jam or egg (yes, just 1) served, so you get to choose to have it scrambled or omelette. For the money you pay for one night stay you could actually find a much nicer hotel! WiFi is only at reception, not in the rooms. Last but not least, what you see on the pictures of the hotel is not the see, it is a smelly swamp, which specifically contributes to your breakfast time.
