The breakfast was amazing. The grounds are beautiful with pretty flowers and lots of cute cats, however, finding our room was tough. And the internet didn’t work. As well, the bathroom was not the cleanest. I had to walk to the front counter in a towel and pass a drunk guy who literally wanted to jump my bones, because in order to reach the front you must scan the QR code which is not possible without...
Beautiful hotel, perfect location if you would like to enjoy the sea or their beautiful infinity pool. Strongly advised for relax
I don't have too many good things to share. The hotel is in a central location, but the access to it from the Ritz is very long on foot and there is no transportation on the island. We booked a "villa" with 2 rooms, a living room and a bedroom. The TV in the living room was not connected to anything except electricity, so it was of no use. The TV in the bedroom worked perfectly fine. A lot of dirt...
This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one...
Very nice, great location and amazing pool and beach.
Great location and room. About a 7 minute walk from the pier. Good staff and modern room. You will love.

Beautiful view, good breakfast. About a 10-minute walk to the city center.
The best hotel in Thailand. We suffered for the first 3 night in another hotel on Phi Phi and we couldn’t sleep coz of the loud noises from the beach parties but then we moved to U Rip and it was th best decision ever - clean, new, SILENCE, nice pool and great area far from the parties. But still accessible coz it is like 15 min walk. Totally recommend especially if you are a light sleeper 👌
For the price the room is not bad, the location is a little far from the night market. Our rooms was in mountains a bit, if you are young in not difficult to live there. But was a lot of mosquitoes in the night cause was mountainous area, but the problems wasn’t the mosquitoes but drunk Russians couples who was till the morning fighting.
Good places for families. Calm but far to the beach where the fiesta
Great hotel & location a little bit away from the hustle & bustle of the port area...beautiful little stretch of beach to walk out to & have a relaxing time at. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to give this hotel another go around my next time in the islands.
The room was very clean. The pool is beautiful. The cool bottles of water for us at the beginning were a special gift. Also the receptionist and the staff.

Monkey place, terrible breakfast.
The floor was full of dust on arrival. otherwise nothing to complain about. Environment, Swimming Pool, Breakfast and other facilities were very good.
The room that I got was outside the resort in a place that looked like staff quarters
Not clean. Bad room. Bad services. Bed not comfortable Bad experience.
The hotel is nice, very clean with a good location and very good facilities, it has two pools and one is located at the rooftop with very nice views. The only bad thing was on the breakfast buffet were the cooker refuse to prepare scrambled eggs with fresh eggs, he insisted in a rude way that the mix for the omelette made with milk, salt and butter was the same as fresh eggs. I have to complain with...
Garden view was actually a view on a building… Service was not great, breakfast was very very limited, staff not the most polite: you expect a goodbye when you say goodbye.

Loved this rustic resort. The beach was private with white sand, suitable balance of sun and shade as well as being close to the bar. We booked the best room in the resort and it didn’t disappoint. The bathroom was amazing but I especially appreciated all the carvings around the resort. Thank you to the Viking team.
The hotel is a bit removed from all the hustle and bustle, which we really enjoyed. There weren't crowds of people, but at the same time, we loved taking an evening stroll along the path to the center. The hotel has its own small beach, not many people, and there's enough space for everyone. You can also walk to Long Beach. The rooms are compact but have everything you need. We had a sea view. There...
The best hotel on Phi Phi, with a wonderful breakfast and its own private beach.
A very nice hotel located outside the main center, but accessible both on foot (25 minutes) and by taxi boat (300 baht return). The hotel also provides a scheduled shuttle service (not many). We stayed in room D1, which I recommend, as it faces the sea. The restaurant is very good. There's also an off-site massage center on the beach with very reasonable prices (400 or 500 baht for one hour).
Recommend if you want a jungle vibe far from centre. Bring repellents and water shoes. Fantastic details and woodwork across the Resort and rooms. Cheapest bungalow is really small - consider upgrading if you plan to stay for longer than 1-2 days. Surprisingly - best breakfast across all other (5* too) hotels during our trip!
We had a wonderful stay at Viking Resort. The views from the room were breathtaking – waking up to them each morning was a highlight. Housekeeping deserves particular recognition as the room was made up perfectly every day and the attention to detail was impressive. The resort’s private beach was excellent and we used nearby Love Beach often. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and...

We ate here 7 times and by far it has been the best we have eaten in Thailand. Is it a bit pricey but still almost twice as cheap as in the nearby hotels. Highly recommend
After a long travel ending up in this little jewel was the highlight. A tucked in affordable little place facing the beautiful blue waters is this great restaurant. The only thing excelling this scenic view is the DELICIOUS food. We had ordered the egg noodles, and green chicken curry with a serving of rice. We wiped out plates clean :p Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10
Food is ok. Service is also very friendly. You sit on the beach right in front of the water. Sometimes the shore can be very windy but if you’re lucky you can enjoy your meal at night in a warm summer breeze.
There are few resorts nearby and this place offers really good, delicious and authentic food. The service is quick too, staff is humble. The best dish so far was egg fried rice, the noodle soup was okayish and can be skipped. They have few western dishes too and the taste is good. For juices you have to let them know your preferences for sugar. They also have a departmental store where you can buy...
What a delightful evening we had here. Tables right at the beach, the most stunning views to the sea. The Thai music, both classical and modern chosen by someone with a taste for good music. The food we had was tremendous. Papaya salad with fresh raw shrimps, BBQ prawns, steamed fish with lime and the ultimate sticky rice with fresh mango and coconut dressing. Placed at an isolated area and good for family time or friends. There are spacious courtyards, nice swimming pool. Breakfast is good and is halal. The local masjid is also nearby. 🕌 The staff carry guests baggage on trolley to the nearby Ferry pier upon check-out. 🛒
We were looking for a hotel for two nights and settled on this option. The breakfasts were excellent! The location is superb! Far from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are spacious. While swimming in the pool, we saw a monitor lizard nearby 😀 We were shocked by its beauty. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is very warm and large; I took a photo with my cake in front of it 🐯
We booked a room for just one night. It was quiet as it's away from the bars and party areas. The beach was also surprisingly close, about 500 meters away. The room had a nice view, and although it showed some wear and tear, the interior was pleasant. There's a 1000 baht deposit, and we'd read reviews about them fining for everything (they even have it written down). So, we photographed everything...
I don't know why everyone's saying it's cheap. 23,000 for two nights isn't exactly budget-friendly! But! I'll tell you! The location is 10/10. It's a large, cozy area, away from the noise, with swings, lawns, and a pool. It's very romantic. The staff was friendly. We checked in at 12:00. All the rooms are doubles. There were three of us (one 12-year-old). They didn't charge us any extra money, and...
Convenient location, beautiful and well-maintained grounds. Cons: Hard mattresses, very weak WiFi

Upon arrival, things got off to a bit of a rough start. Room 210, while advertised with a sea view, had a very limited one, which wasn't a huge deal. The most unpleasant part was the leaky pipe by the toilet. My request to switch rooms with the front desk wasn't successful. After adjusting my mindset and accepting it, it was fine—the water was clean anyway, and I was there to relax, so no need to dwell...
Every time I visit Koh Phi Phi, I stay at this hotel. It's not far from Tonsai Pier, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area. At night, you can hear the longtail boats passing by on the sea. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's more than enough, and they offer different options daily.
Really enjoyed my stay here! - Friendly staff - Great location, away from some of the busier areas in Phi Phi but easy to walk everywhere, particularly to the lovely quieter beaches on the island - Decent accommodation, comfortable and quiet - Offer free transfers to and from the main pier - Breakfast was okay, the variety of options could be improved - Some of the facilities could be improved too...
Overall, a great experience! **Facilities:** The independent cabins are really unique and charming. **Cleanliness:** Very good, spotless. **Environment:** The air is filled with the refreshing scent of the sea breeze. **Service:** Everyone was very friendly. It's perfect for a relaxing 'lie-flat' hotel stay. There are many cute, free-roaming cats on the mountain, which adds to the laid-back vibe
Our stay at Bayview was fine for the 3 days…we were hardly at our room though. The location is fabulous- close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle of restaurants, the pier and entertainment. If you have little children the walk could be lengthy.. but was fine for us. It is the last resort before the famous Long Beach so there is a lot of foot traffic to Long Beach each day in the peak season....
We had a fantastic stay at Bayview Resort and wish we had longer! It was located just out of the main town centre which was great as it was nice to leave the hustle and bussle for quieter atmosphere. This hotel truly deserves 5 stars! Room: Modern, high-end, and spotless. Everything feels brand new with a fresh scent. Toiletries and amenities are top quality. Reception & Service: Outstanding! The staff went above and beyond, helping us book tours and transportation to Phuket at the same online price (unlike other hotels that charge extra). They even allowed a late checkout to match our ferry...
Clean, renovated rooms in a convenient location. In fact, the hotel was sold out the two nights we stayed. It loses two stars because of the awful smell coming out of the shower. Can't figure out why, but ended up mixing a lot of shampoo down the drain to hide the sewage smell. Sorry, wouldn't stay here again, just for that reason. Staff was polite and courteous. Two floors, no elevator which shouldn...
I did A LOT of research to pick my hotel on Phi Phi and this hotel was honestly amazing, I’m sad I only stayed one night! It’s probably the nicest hotel in the busy Phi Phi area, the rooms feel high end, nice air conditioning, nice lobby and service. It is next to a town speaker that does a prayer a few times a day (one is at like 5 am) but they provide ear plugs and it only lasts like 2 minutes. While...
Clean & comfy room, great value for 1-night stay The hotel is newly renovated and the room was nice, comfy, clean & modern. The staff was friendly & the location is great - it’s in the centre and just next to the pier. They also have an air-conditioned waiting room, which was handy when we had to wait for our ferry after we checked-out. Some little cons are that the bathroom was a little smelly...
We stayed for two nights at Panmanee Hotel, and honestly, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The only minor issue was that while many hotels had agents at the pier to pick up their guests, we had to find the location ourselves using Google Maps. However, it was easy to find, just about 250 meters from the pier, so we didn’t need any assistance. The location was excellent—right near a vibrant street...
Had an amazing stay here. Best part was the location - close to Pier, great food options. Also the hotel got renovated recently, so it is top notch in every service. The only bad aspect was the room size which was reasonable, but given the pricing, I don't think you can find anything better with such great location.

Upon entering the room, I found a dead cockroach on the floor, and a small one the next day. The hotel exterior is decent, but the interior looks more like a standard guesthouse. However, given the peak season, this was the only option for the price. The lady boss at the front desk was okay, but despite requesting daily cleaning, it wasn't done. The service overall is quite poor.
The place was clean and right near the beach. Was loud at night but wasn't an issue to me you can hear the music from the beach at night. Close to view points if you want to see them around 10 minute walk to the main part. I would stay here again. Laundry service and a shop right close by also an ATM
Good hotels are hard to find in this island so you have to consider that because this place is one of the best in the area, one of the few with a pool and a good pool with amazing view. The rooms are big and comfortable, they are designed like individual houses. Pro tip, long tail boat drivers hangout at McDonalds so you may to cut the middle man on a private tour.
This hotel offers cozy bungalows that are a real treat to stay in. Some of them boast stunning views of the bay, which was a highlight of my trip. The grounds are beautifully green and well-kept, adding to the overall charm. The hotel is perched on a slope, though, and in the heat, trekking up to your bungalow can be quite a challenge. One wild moment was when monkeys from the nearby forest climbed...

The location of this hotel is great, and the view from the pool is undeniably incredible. Unfortunately, I feel like they count on this as the main feature and hope that we will see past the old rooms and average breakfast. For the price paid, I do feel like the rooms could be upgraded slightly as they were old and dusty. The breakfast was okay, but it is not outstanding by any means.
Hotel location is good and hotel is awesome .
A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast is delicious, with made-to-order omelets and a wide variety of fresh fruits. The hotel is super close to the beach, just a five-minute walk away. The pool is large and looked very clean from the side, though I didn't go in. There's no elevator, but staff will help you carry your luggage upstairs. However, the hygiene was quite concerning. Perhaps...
An okay place to stay with a million $ view from the rather splendid pool area.  The staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.  However, we frequently experienced drainage smells in the room which wasn’t very nice. Great location and a really comfortable, cozy room. No private beach, but that's fine since a public beach is just a short walk away. I'd recommend kayaking to Monkey Beach!
Very convenient location. However, the shower water pressure is quite low and they only provide two pillows for a king-size bed. The room is also rather dark as there is not enough lighting.

Great hotel with an excellent breakfast! The location is good for parties, but it's about 1km from where the boats depart. Not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind. When you arrive on the island, it's a good idea to ask a staff member to help with your luggage. Good value for money!
For Phi Phi, this hotel is decent – good value for money. The plumbing and furniture are old; in our room, the toilet was leaking. The location is convenient, close to the center. Long Beach is about a 25-minute walk away. Breakfasts are good, and housekeeping is daily.
This is our third time staying here. The rooms are quite small, however the location and staff are great. At first they gave us the room near the smelly river which attracts lots of mosquitoes. We requested to change the room. So my suggestion is do not select the rooms near the river. Breakfast was ok but not really great.
This is my second stay here. I love the environment; it's very close to the beach and pier. The detached rooms are very clean, and although they're not big, they're fully equipped.
Great facilities and very friendly staff. The breakfast is very good, with a mix of Thai and Western options. The plants and water features throughout the whole complex have it a very cozy, tropical feel, even though you’re in the middle of town. The hotel is centrally located within Phi Phi town, if you would like to be close to the action.

The staff is very nice and the location is very good. The price is expensive for this hotel.
The hotel is located near the pier. So it was vey convenient for us to do snorkeling and scuba diving.
The best aspects were the location and the buffet. It's just a 2-minute walk from the pier, and the hotel's street connects the bay to the beach. On the downside, it definitely needs more cleaning (the fans haven't been cleaned in at least a decade) and the rooms should be fumigated.

Phi Phi is absolutely stunning, this place was great, there is however a warning sign of don’t feed the monkeys and keep your doors locked at all times, we laughed at first but they weren’t lying, there was monkeys everywhere, love sitting on the roof of the hotel, climbing...
Good location and good service from staff. The view is so stunning.

Just go for it!! It’s the best way to enjoy phi phi. A bit secluded but worth every penny
They really try here. They do a ton of work coordinating just to get us all the way out there to the tip of the island on their boats, and then the shuttle takes us up and down the hill daily. The snorkeling and adjacent beach amenities are truly amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the view is insane. Breakfast could be improved, and of course the dilapidated water park needs to be properly renovated...
This hotel is tucked away in a secluded area and is best reached by long-tail boats or their hourly shuttle service to a town pickup point. Just be aware the shuttle stops at 9pm. My room had a dripping air conditioning unit and some loud mechanical noise from a nearby pump disturbed my sleep. Otherwise, the view was great and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Nickie at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. Her service was outstanding, and she went above and beyond to assist us — she even helped us book a massage smoothly and efficiently. Thank you, Nickie, for your warm hospitality and excellent service. You truly made our experience even better!
The restaurant at the top of the hill is absolutely fantastic, offering panoramic views of the entire Phi Phi Island. The staff's English was excellent, so there were no communication issues at all.
I had an amazing experience. It was very quiet and clean. They have pools, including a nice one down by the beach. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They pick you up at the pier and take you to the resort. It’s not near the town; it takes about 10 minutes to get to and from town by car. They offer free hourly rides that are always on time. However, the rides are only free until 9:00 p.m....

Gooddd comfortable close to dock
The room is very clean and neat with a marvelous view both ways
The hotel was lovely, the view from my room was stunning ! Very dreamy !! a bit of a walk to the main area but still quite doable. The pool access was wonderful. Cons: The bed wasn’t quite comfortable and the walls are bit too thin. The staff that was stationed in the evening was quite rude to us.
Very good position away from town 5mins walk. Picked up at the ferry checked in early no problem. Walk out of hotel pool in front then the beach and free to use sun beds. Booked a 3hr tour at the guy next door very good left early it gets busy. Bar on the beach very friendly. For the price good location clean and friendly but it is old photos on the site were probably taken a while ago. 👍
