Upon arrival, things got off to a bit of a rough start. Room 210, while advertised with a sea view, had a very limited one, which wasn't a huge deal. The most unpleasant part was the leaky pipe by the toilet. My request to switch rooms with the front desk wasn't successful. After adjusting my mindset and accepting it, it was fine—the water was clean anyway, and I was there to relax, so no need to dwell...

Every time I visit Koh Phi Phi, I stay at this hotel. It's not far from Tonsai Pier, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area. At night, you can hear the longtail boats passing by on the sea. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's more than enough, and they offer different options daily.

Our stay at Bayview was fine for the 3 days…we were hardly at our room though. The location is fabulous- close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle of restaurants, the pier and entertainment. If you have little children the walk could be lengthy.. but was fine for us. It is the last resort before the famous Long Beach so there is a lot of foot traffic to Long Beach each day in the peak season....

We had a fantastic stay at Bayview Resort and wish we had longer! It was located just out of the main town centre which was great as it was nice to leave the hustle and bussle for quieter atmosphere. The facilities here were great, having such a nice beach on your doorstep was amazing. The location of this hotel is great, and the view from the pool is undeniably incredible. Unfortunately, I feel like they count on this as the main feature and hope that we will see past the old rooms and average breakfast. For the price paid, I do feel like the rooms could be upgraded slightly as they were old and dusty. The breakfast was okay, but it is not outstanding by any means.

A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. For example at breakfast they served shrimp fried rice with the poop sack still attached and a lot of flies were around the fruit in the mornings. We stayed a number of days in a Superior Premium bungalow (upgraded from a Garden bungalow) which was located near the beach. The interior was very fresh and comfy and the bungalow looked very new or recently renovated. Around the resort on the beach you had plenty of opportunities to eat outside the resort. We were a group of 5 who stayed 1 night at the resort and how we regret only staying one night! The huge property which offers different styles of rooms with and without private pools. we had a very comfortable stay and even booked excursions with the hotel which were private and beyond compare!! Highly recommend and if I visit phiphi again, I definitely will visit again!

Noisy renovations for the whole 8 days first night till 9pm on and off during the day you are only notified about consrtuction after you book. I had paid extra for a bungalow that was too noisy from a food hall next door couldn't stay there rooms were much cheaper but got no refund for staying in the room. 3rd time I have stayed here but I won't be coming back the fumes from the painting works also...

The best hotel in Thailand. We suffered for the first 3 night in another hotel on Phi Phi and we couldn’t sleep coz of the loud noises from the beach parties but then we moved to U Rip and it was th best decision ever - clean, new, SILENCE, nice pool and great area far from the parties. But still accessible coz it is like 15 min walk. Totally recommend especially if you are a light sleeper 👌

For the price the room is not bad, the location is a little far from the night market. Our rooms was in mountains a bit, if you are young in not difficult to live there. But was a lot of mosquitoes in the night cause was mountainous area, but the problems wasn’t the mosquitoes but drunk Russians couples who was till the morning fighting.

They really try here. They do a ton of work coordinating just to get us all the way out there to the tip of the island on their boats, and then the shuttle takes us up and down the hill daily. The snorkeling and adjacent beach amenities are truly amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the view is insane. Breakfast could be improved, and of course the dilapidated water park needs to be properly renovated...

This hotel is tucked away in a secluded area and is best reached by long-tail boats or their hourly shuttle service to a town pickup point. Just be aware the shuttle stops at 9pm. My room had a dripping air conditioning unit and some loud mechanical noise from a nearby pump disturbed my sleep. Otherwise, the view was great and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The restaurant at the top of the hill is absolutely fantastic, offering panoramic views of the entire Phi Phi Island. The staff's English was excellent, so there were no communication issues at all.

If you're going to Charlie, you need to understand that it consists of several very old buildings with small, rundown rooms located within the Princess Hotel. The Princess is an excellent and vibrant four-star hotel with a great territory, location, and beachfront breakfasts that compensate for the inconveniences of poor Charlie. But overall, you get what you pay for.

The location is decent, but I'm not sure if it's because we're Chinese, but both rooms we were assigned were at the very end of the hall. We tried talking to the hotel, but they said they couldn't switch our rooms, even though we checked in at 11:00 AM and the hotel seemed to be mostly occupied by Europeans. Our room was right next to a bar on the street, and it was noisy until 3:00 AM.

Great hotel with an excellent breakfast! The location is good for parties, but it's about 1km from where the boats depart. Not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind. When you arrive on the island, it's a good idea to ask a staff member to help with your luggage. Good value for money!

This is our third time staying here. The rooms are quite small, however the location and staff are great. At first they gave us the room near the smelly river which attracts lots of mosquitoes. We requested to change the room. So my suggestion is do not select the rooms near the river. Breakfast was ok but not really great.

The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and they even arranged breakfast earlier than the usual opening time because we had an early morning flight. We really appreciated the extra care and thoughtfulness.

Overall, it was good. Despite the lively surroundings, the soundproofing was excellent, and the room was very quiet. The service was attentive; the front desk staff spoke a little Chinese, and there was a gentleman who escorted us to our room. Phi Phi Island is beautiful.

It is the best location to live on Phi Phi in my opinion - you have amazing beaches in walkable distance, you can reach the town in 10 minutes. You get wonderful views of the ocean, it is breathtaking place on earth. But it is quite a hike to get to your bungalow, if you live in the 3rd row, so be aware of that. A very nice hotel located outside the main center, but accessible both on foot (25 minutes) and by taxi boat (300 baht return). The hotel also provides a scheduled shuttle service (not many). We stayed in room D1, which I recommend, as it faces the sea. The restaurant is very good. There's also an off-site massage center on the beach with very reasonable prices (400 or 500 baht for one hour).

Recommend if you want a jungle vibe far from centre. Bring repellents and water shoes. Fantastic details and woodwork across the Resort and rooms. Had an amazing stay here. Best part was the location - close to Pier, great food options. Also the hotel got renovated recently, so it is top notch in every service. Let’s start for the good … the hotel view is astonishing, just few minutes from the phiphi view point so if you are a sunset lover this is the pace . Now… the down sides , the appliances in the hotel aren’t in the best shape, this place needs renovation, we had to change our room at least the could solve that , the stairs to arrive to the hotel are really up , so I think this is not a hotel for families...

Upon entering the room, I found a dead cockroach on the floor, and a small one the next day. The hotel exterior is decent, but the interior looks more like a standard guesthouse. However, given the peak season, this was the only option for the price. The lady boss at the front desk was okay, but despite requesting daily cleaning, it wasn't done. The service overall is quite poor.

The place was clean and right near the beach. Was loud at night but wasn't an issue to me you can hear the music from the beach at night. Good hotels are hard to find in this island so you have to consider that because this place is one of the best in the area, one of the few with a pool and a good pool with amazing view. The rooms are big and comfortable, they are designed like individual houses. Pro tip, long tail boat drivers hangout at McDonalds so you may to cut the middle man on a private tour.

We loved the Cove at PP. We were a bit nervous as some of the reviews had been bad but we couldn’t see anything wrong with it. We had a bit of a choppy ride to the hotel and Ponza but that was quite fun. I love the rooms, love the location. It is steep but you just get used to that. I love doing the jungle walk and loved everything about it. 

Very scenic location with very friendly and helpful staff. We did the view point hike on the first day which was good but be ready for a steep start! The hotel is in a stunning location, far from the village and ideal for those seeking tranquility. The view is enchanting. There are 150 steps to reach it from the beach, but they're a welcome change. The only downside is the lack of daily housekeeping, at least for the two days we stayed.

The hotel is good, but it's located on a hill, so be aware that you'll have to climb stairs.

This is my third time staying at HIP. The price was significantly higher this peak season, but the experience was as good as ever. I especially love the sea view and location from the window. Although there are long stairs to climb each way, it's worth it. The breakfast is also very good, and you can see many fish while snorkeling on the beach downstairs.
