What stood out most was how attentive and friendly the staff were—they genuinely cared about the children’s experience, making it easy for parents to relax and enjoy the rest of the hotel’s luxurious amenities. The pools were also very family-friendly, adding even more fun to the stay.
If you're looking for a place where both parents and kids can have an amazing time, this is easily one of the best choices in Bangkok.
A highlight of our trip was the beautiful birthday surprise they prepared for my fiancée — balloons, a cake, and fresh fruit, which made the stay feel extra special. The room was immaculate, we loved having a balcony, and the pool was absolutely amazing. Food at Alati was delicious, and we really appreciated the extra in-room amenities like the room spray and complimentary minibar. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic, with great variety and freshness every morning.
Our only small critiques were that the TV felt quite outdated for a five-star hotel, and the small disposable shampoo/conditioner packaging seemed a bit wasteful. Otherwise, everything truly felt six-star — incredible value for money, with a perfect location close to everything essential. Highly recommend and will be returning for sure.
While most of the front line staff are friendly, the golf cart driver left us alone several times outside of the hotel, leaving us in the dark. The room were refurbished but some minor issues include uneven wooden floors which you can see the floors in the room are quite dated and rotten. The bathroom facilities were a major disappointment as the shower head and shower tap fall down twice, which could pose eminent safety hazards to guests. Beddings are okay but the delivery of services are quite slow.
