I had a wonderful stay at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River.

Even before my arrival, the Concierge team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They replied promptly to my emails, assisted me in arranging a professional hair and makeup team for a wedding, and helped with restaurant reservations and various requests throughout my stay. Their service was warm, thoughtful, and highly professional.

The room offered a beautiful river view, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was exceptional. One of the most impressive aspects was the landscaping. Lush greenery and beautiful plants are integrated throughout the property, creating a relaxing and peaceful environment that makes you forget you are in the middle of a busy city.

Walking along the Chao Phraya River with the gentle river breeze was one of the highlights of my trip. The hotel boat service was also excellent, providing convenient access to ICONSIAM and the BTS station.

The dining experience was outstanding. I dined at three different restaurants within the hotel, and every meal was excellent. The food quality, presentation, and service were consistently impressive.

What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

This was an unforgettable stay, and I would gladly return in the future. I give Four Seasons Bangkok my highest recommendation.

Four Seasons remains the gold standard for service. The hygiene is top-notch, and the turndown service always offers delightful surprises. Traveling with kids, the extra bed was incredibly convenient. We received a puzzle as a welcome gift, and the welcome treats were a lovely touch. They even replenished our welcome fruit after we finished it. My only slight personal observation, which I've noticed across all hotels in Thailand over my ten-plus years of visiting — whether city or resort — is that staff tend to be a bit friendlier to Western guests than to Chinese guests. The Four Seasons, though, is actually one of the better ones in that regard. Overall, it's excellent; you get a real resort feel even in the city. For this brand and price point, it's quite reasonable, especially considering how expensive Four Seasons resorts can be. Great value for money.

Thanks to Elaine's assistance, this hotel truly lives up to its reputation as one of the world's best. Everything was perfect. This is definitely my top choice for hotels in Bangkok.

Service is consistently outstanding, with staff anticipating needs and providing warm, attentive care throughout the experience.

A highlight was BKK Social Club, where the atmosphere is vibrant yet sophisticated, and the staff were especially kind and engaging. Time at the pool was equally impressive, with attentive service that made it easy to fully unwind. Overall, it was an incredibly relaxing stay, capped off by a truly gorgeous room—elegant, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a luxury escape.

The room had high ceilings, but our room was quite a walk from the main areas. The pool had too many foreigners. We'd planned for the kids to swim while we relaxed, but they said the pool wasn't very clean. You can take a boat from the hotel to cruise the Chao Phraya River, which we tried. We also checked out the hotel bar, and it was pretty good.

The room was spacious, and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. Fresh fruit was replenished daily and was of excellent quality. Since I mentioned in my email that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the hotel arranged a lovely room setup and a cake upon check-in. They even surprised us with another cake during our dinner at the French restaurant. The hotel offers convenient boat transfers to the mall across the river or nearby piers for onward connections. There are also several good restaurants right outside the hotel, and Asiatique The Riverfront is within walking distance. It was a bit of a shame that the hotel spa was under renovation during our stay, but I look forward to experiencing it on my next visit.

This Four Seasons in Bangkok truly represents the pinnacle of a city resort experience. While it shares the same owner as the neighboring Capella, the Four Seasons far surpasses it in terms of public areas and dining facilities.

The hotel's public spaces are stunning, with the central courtyard, pool, and other communal areas beautifully designed with lush greenery and water features, creating a sense of being hidden away from the bustling city. When you book their transfer service, you're directly escorted to your room for check-in.

Location-wise, the hotel is very close to Iconsiam, Bangkok's largest shopping mall. It shares the same ferry service as the Capella next door, allowing for direct river transportation between the hotel and the mall.

The hotel rooms boast impressive ceiling heights, giving them a spacious feel. You can enjoy views of the Chao Phraya River from your window. The room service is meticulously attentive and promptly responsive. You can easily communicate your needs with your butler by typing on the in-room tablet.

Dining is one of the biggest reasons I love this hotel. Both the hotel's Cantonese restaurant and bar have received numerous awards. The Cantonese rice noodle rolls, abalone tarts, and Peking duck are all outstanding. The bar, recognized as one of Asia's Top 50, has a fantastic ambiance. Each cocktail has a unique story behind it. The boneless chicken wings are incredibly delicious (I'd order them to my room even if I didn't go to the bar). Additionally, the Pad Krapow from room service is also exceptionally tasty. It's hard not to eat ten meals a day at this hotel; every day is about indulging in food, drink, and relaxation.

Finally, I want to highlight the hotel's service. A true test of excellent service at a luxury hotel is whether staff remember your preferences. I stayed at the Four Seasons for three days, and from the second evening, the bar staff already remembered my surname, room number, and my fondness for boneless chicken wings. When I returned to the hotel three days later and passed by the bar, the manager even asked if I needed another order of chicken wings to-go. This feeling of being truly at home and recognized is something most hotels cannot provide. Another point: on the day I left mid-stay, my wake-up call didn't come on time. I mentioned it to the front desk when checking out (without intending to complain or seek compensation at the time). The front office manager nearby immediately handed me his business card and offered his assistance if needed. A few minutes after I got into the car, I received an apology email from him, stating that my airport transfer fee would be waived, and my reservation for my return three days later would be upgraded to a suite free of charge. I just wish hotels in my home country would learn how to handle these issues better…

I deducted three points because there's no bidet toilet!
