COMO Metropolitan Bangkok in Bangkok

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Bangkok! 🏨 The room was huge and exactly my style. My only gripe was the restaurant – it was a bit disappointing. The new renovation left a strong smell, and the room we were assigned was connected to the next one by a door, like a suite. The people next door came back in the middle of the night and partied from midnight until 3 AM. I was so annoyed I almost went over there to confront them!

Location: The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the subway station. Once you reach the intersection, the signs aren't very clear, so you need to look carefully. After turning left at the intersection, you still have to walk about 50 meters.

Cleanliness: The hotel's interior is very clean, the facilities are all new, and the bedding is comfortable. However, the shower drain is a bit slow.

Service: The front desk service is excellent; they offer a welcome drink upon arrival.

I genuinely recommend this place. The room design is simple yet sophisticated, and the gym and pool are both excellent, perfect for a lazy afternoon. I also got to try a wonderful yoga experience. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Bangkok, but I hope the prices don't go up!

The service was excellent. The newly renovated rooms are more modern, and the public areas and lobby are beautifully designed. My only minor complaint is that the all-day dining restaurant feels a bit enclosed, and the path to the gym and pool awkwardly cuts through it, which is a bit strange. Otherwise, everything else was great.

However, breakfast was quite average. The buffet selection was very limited, and the à la carte options weren't very tasty.

The service was excellent, and the hotel was very clean. We had an extra bed added for our child. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with main dishes ordered from a menu, but the taste was just so-so. The hotel's location is a peaceful retreat in a bustling area; it's quite comfortable even if you don't go out. However, there aren't many shops or restaurants nearby; the closest 7-Eleven is about a 500-meter walk. Depends on your needs.

The environment exceeded my expectations and was very comfortable! As soon as we entered, they enthusiastically helped us with our luggage and checked us in. Initially, we were placed on the fourth floor, which felt very damp. I'd read reviews saying that Chinese guests are often assigned lower floors, and while I'm not sure if that's true, I spoke with the front desk and they immediately moved us to the 8th floor. The air on the 8th floor was much better, but there was a significant amount of standing water in the bathroom after showering, perhaps due to a poor floor drain. The housekeeping staff said it was because of the low elevation. I booked day by day, and for subsequent check-ins, I specifically requested a high floor and was placed on the 9th floor, where there was no standing water in the bathroom.

The service was excellent! Fresh fruit was replaced daily. My mom particularly loves wax apples, and after that, the staff specially brought her a whole plate of them. They were very patient and accommodating to our requests; their thoughtfulness really showed in the details. The hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo were all wonderful. They seemed to contain essential oils, leaving my skin feeling moisturized and my hair looking shiny. I noticed they sell these products on the first floor, which suggests they're quite popular. The slippers were also very comfortable, made of woven rattan, very breathable and stylish. I saw lots of snacks in the minibar fridge, for a fee, and their packaging was really appealing. I wonder if the hotel allows photos of the minibar contents; I'd love to search online to see if I can buy those snacks.

The breakfast was very healthy; the yogurt and bread were delicious. You could also order one item from a menu. The pork dish was particularly tasty, but it seemed the menu hadn't changed at all during our stay. I hope the breakfast options will be more varied if I stay here again in the future, though the quality of the breakfast was already very high.

We had a truly wonderful time staying here. My mom also loved it; it was very comfortable and cozy. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Bangkok.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. I booked it based on a recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. The swimming pool is beautiful, the sauna is very satisfying, and the room is bright and clean, which made my stay extremely comfortable.

I especially loved the daily fruit service and the housekeeping — both were perfect.

The only slight downside was the breakfast. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly impressive either — just somewhere in between.

super stylish hotel. The snake skin kinda interior grew on me. Very bright themed, and with a tasteful minimalistic style. The only thing is that the bed is a bit hard, and doesn't feel a super luxurious sleep that you would expect in Como

The Metropolitan room type is pretty good, and they offer free extra beds for children under 11. The staff are very friendly, and we received welcome drinks and fruit. There's also a small hot spring, but unfortunately, children aren't allowed in – you have to be over 16.
