The Culture Samui in Bang Rak Beach

Brilliant hotel, would recommend to anyone and wished we stayed here longer! Rooms are clean and very modern and stylish, pretty much everything you would need is in this room. We was in a ground floor pool veiw room as this was very convenient to have to room right next to the pool!
Breakfast was great, lots of different food choices. I am vegetarian and found it very good for me. We also ate at the restaurant of an evening and the meals were lovely! Same for bar, lots of choices.
Hotel has a private beach area, pool is very nice also. Gym is good. Location of hotel is good, shops and restaurants very close by. Close to fishermans village and other good things.
All staff across hotel are very friendly and helpful, reception staff including Kwan, Ti, Lala are very helpful!
Also Paul the cat is very cute, make sure you make a donation to the street cats and dogs

Only stayed one night but this is a wonderful hotel. The staff are fantastic and welcoming. Check in was very quick and efficient.

My room was very comfortable, overlooking the pool area. Great bathroom and shower with really hot water and good pressure.

Would highly recommend and I'd certainly stay again in future.

I had a wonderful stay, especially enjoying the hotel’s restaurant and bar.

The Thai cuisine was delicious, with a creative fusion twist that felt modern while still preserving authentic flavors. The portion sizes were just right — not too large — making it comfortable to enjoy multiple dishes.

At the bar, the cocktails were beautifully presented, with great attention to detail in both appearance and taste. The drinks were well-balanced, smooth, and distinctive. I especially loved the Margarita and the Mai Tai — they were exceptional and truly memorable.

The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were attentive, polite, and made the overall atmosphere warm and welcoming.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily return to stay here again. ✨

We had a fantastic one week stay at The Culture Samui and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting the island!

The hotel is wonderful. Kind of like a small, cozy boutique feel, so it never felt overcrowded or too busy, which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are really nice, and easy access between the pool and bedrooms and beach etc was a massive plus.

The food was great. Breakfast every morning was really nice, and the meals at the poolside restaurant were pretty good quality. There are also lots of restaurants near the hotel in walking distance of a variety of different price ranges... the staff were also great in recommending their favourite restaurants on the island which we went to via grab, super easy and all were fantastic.

The staff were super helpful during both check-in and check-out, and they were always cheerful and happy to go out of their way to help with a smile.

Aum and Tee were particularly helpful and made the stay even nicer!

Overall 10/10 and if anyone is thinking of going to Koh Samui then I can't think of a better place than here :)

We loved our 8 night stay at the Culture Samui. It’s a boutique hotel so not too big and they strive for quality not quantity. The staff were always helpful and super friendly (Ahmie was particularly helpful).
We stayed in an Ocean View room on the 4th (top) floor which is double the room size of the delux and was amazing; great views, a bath on the balcony, a roomy dressing area and big bathroom. The breakfast had a great selection of Thai and Western options. Bar food in the day and dinner at the fire night were delicious. (Loved the Gyozas)
The pool was lovely although we mainly went to the beds on the beach. Loungers were always available. Towels were provided. There’s a gym and the hotel will arrange some trips or massage/yoga for you if required. For us it was a great location as some lovely restaurants nearby (Secret Garden for drinks/great food with a sunset view or Sabienglae) But also only a short taxi ride to the Fisherman’s Village or Cheongmon beach.
Facilities are fairly limited only because it’s a small hotel but perfect for us.
Be aware that the beach club 79 is next door so you will hear dance music from noon but this doesn’t go on later than 9 or 10 in the evening.

The grounds are immaculate, and meticulously cleaned.

The Hotel's Restaurant has a nice menu, everything we have ordered has been tasty. I am very pleased.

Across the street are multiple, yummy restaurants.. as well as a 7-11. There is a ganja "dispensary" 50 meters away. Everything you need, want, and expect.

We had an awesome short vacation here and really have to say that we got nothing to complaint about!

The hotel staff have been super friendly and helpful. The food within the hotel was also amazing with great quality. On top of that, you also get to choose and enjoy Happy Hour for 1 hour anytime of day which gives us the pleasure to relax and enjoy the drinks whenever it works for our schedule.

I definitely strongly recommend any of you U Samui if you are looking for a more quiet and boutique resort to stay when u travel to Koh Samui!

The hotel is very well designed. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Love it and highly recommended !

Amazing hotel with great rooms and service. The staff always greats you and wants to make sure you are okay. The rooms were great with amazing beds and we even got an upgrade because something happened without any wrongdoing by them. Their pools is perfect with the view on the sea and the palm trees. I would only suggest to make the breakfast a bit more exciting.

Service exceptional. Hotel room good. Price good. Location good. Sound of airplane doesn't disturb during bedtime. Bed good. Breakfast good.

Minus - bean bag by the beach and pool is not so clean.

Update: Please check the water drainage in the shower. The water flows very slowly.
