Bang Po Village in Ban Bang Po

The location by the beach was both a plus and a minus. During our visit the sea was rough, the waves were extremely loud right under the windows. The beach was full of trash because of the rough sea. The rooms are neglected. They don't replenish the supplies automatically, we had to ask. They change towels every second day. They wash the floors every second day. They change the trash every day. The windows are not tested. The floor is leaky. The insect screens are not tested. During our stay we regularly saw lizards, probably cockroaches, various bugs and ants inside. Hopefully we won't bring anything home. The location is great. But unfortunately I can't recommend the accommodation. I was scared all night.

We stayed in a bungalow

That a great location, but the place looks like a depression inside. Super dark with dirty windows everywhere like if they haven't been cleaned since the house was build. There is no duvet but just sheets, super old equipment, almost everything: furniture, walls, shower. The top of the shelves peeling off are just taped with tape, super uncomfortable shower, with NO HOT water. Honestly it was super cold to shower with cold water. We stayed there for 4 days, it was ok with shower when the weather was nice, but when it started to rain I was totally shivering after the shower. Here in the reviews pictures are really nice, but in the reality the rooms are not that nice as they were presented. Btw we didn't like our little house and the girl which made a contract said maybe it's possible that they move us after 2 days, but then told that it's not possible. You can rent a scooter for a 260 baht per day, but you need to give your passport for a rent, which is weird. They also have a taxi offer, but we were left too far away from the location we booked. So it was kind of 70 m away from it but it was a downpour, raining like crazy and I got completely wet since i needed to get my luggage out of the car and drag it till the reception, but hey I got my shower lol, since I couldn't shower in this place for 2 days because the water was too cold.
