Eden Extend Fisherman Village in Bophut

Stayed here a few times now, Jean - Mark & his staff are always available to assist in making your say as comfortable & relaxing as possible by the pool with service to match. Located right in Fisherman's village its an idea place to stay & chill with plenty of eatery's & shops to browse during your stay & if you like markets, there is one just a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which will offer everything you could possibly want from clothes to street food of all descriptions along with seating & music to sit & relax just watching the world go by. We will be back again for another visit same time later this year. Thank you again for your hospitality Jean - Mark, I will try to improve my French so we can have a better conversation next time..!

Was a nice and clean place, couldn’t eat at the restaurant as to many smokers, cleaning ladies left our outdoor bathroom door open for the day and our room was full of bugs. Reception staff were great!

What an Oasais in the middle of vibrant Fisherman's Village! Cozy bungalows hidden in the jungle, great!
Mosquitoes? Of course, but every Asian traveller should know how to deal with it!
We had a fantastic stay in the 'Garden of Eden', where the owner does not hide and always has an open ear.
The only small downer was that we could not write our drinks on the room, but should always pay immediately. Can be improved, but does not detract from the overall enjoyment

We just spent 6 nights here and were happy with our accomodation.It is a small hotel with Bungalows and classic rooms.Lush gardens around a swimming pool.The rooms are very simple but comfortable and clean.Outdoor bathroom that flooded when it rained.Also no hot water the 6 days we were there but a querky urn /shower.Small verandah opening onto gardens.We chose here due to its afforability and it was fine but no view.Just got to give a heads up to the kitchen staff who made some very delicious meals and everything on the menu was 150bht including prawns and squid.Wish we had ate here ever night as all restaurants outside of here were very expensive and not the same quality.No freezer in the fridges which was a bit disappointing as I make my own ice but they were happy to put my iceblock makers into their freezer for me.The location is right in the heart of Bophut Fisherman village across the road from the beach.Unfortunately they dont do breakfasts so we had to find somewhere to eat each morning and Bophut really doesnt wake up until way after 10am.Night markets are an easy 100m stroll down the road.If you are looking for a very affordable central location then dont look any further than this no frills small hotel

If you want to immerse yourself right in the middle of fisherman's village then this is the place to stay with everything right at your doorstep. The night market is just a short walk away. Rooms are tidy with very comfortable beds.

Just finished an 8 night stay. We absolutely loved our time here and wish we could be back already. If you are looking for a place which has a rustic, Thai charm then this is it!

Have nothing but good words to say about the place. The outdoor shower and toilet is a delight! Very rustic feels to this hotel and if that is what you want compared to a sparkly modern hotel, then this is the place (however that is not to say the hotel is dated as it is not, but there aren’t too many places you can find in Koh Samui where the room feels like it is in the jungle!)

Jean-Marc was a great host and always greeted us with a warm welcome day and night. On top of that, the bar located at the front of the hotel is a great spot for either a nightcap or just a few drinks, with all the staff an absolute delight.

Thank you Jean-Marc and the rest of the team for a lovely 8 nights. We have been to Thailand four times and travelled around the country, but myself and my partner both agreed this was our absolute favourite place to stay! If you are looking for somewhere in Fishermans Village (or Koh Samui in general) with a real rustic Thai vibe, then this is the place :)

Very conveniently located. It's practically in the center of the main traffic in Fisherman's Village and a step from the night market. The beach is across the road, and Coco Tam with its fire show is a bit further away. The hotel is organized around an indoor pool, and the entrance is through the bar/restaurant. Surprisingly, despite its location, the rooms are quite quiet at night and in the morning. The rooms are styled like old bungalows, with rustic yet stylish wooden furniture. There's both air conditioning and a ceiling fan, but the shower is a bit awkward—if you're not careful, you'll flood the toilet. The bed is a bit hard, but not a deal-breaker. I only stayed one night, and I loved everything.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Eden Bungalows! I was there 3 nights and ate at the restaurant the first night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I accidentally locked my belongings in the safe and couldn't get the code to work - the staff was quick to help out and showed me how to set the code. They also provided recommendations for where to eat and find drinks nearby. Overall a great experience!

We fell upon this gem of a place following a negative experience at a previous hotel. We checked out and had nowhere else booked to go. By chance we walked in here for a drink and asked if there was any availability. Thankfully there was! Very impressed with the friendly staff from the start. The bungalows are absolutely beautiful, there was nothing to fault. The whole place was a pleasure to stay at. All of the staff were friendly, smiling you could see they are happy in their work. Location is excellent, within walking distance to some lovely restaurants and bars. Would return and will recommend to family and friends! Well done everyone at Eden Bungalows, keep up the good work!
