Very nice hotel for families, 2 pools, direct access to the beach (not private), free breakfast for kids, plate and glasses for kids. Food is good and includes a few vegetarian options

The personnel is so kind and helpful. We had a private yoga lesson it was very nice. Kids club is nice and there are 1-2 people from the staff with the kids inside. You can have a massage by the pool and in the spa

Location is perfect: right at the beginning of Chaweng do you can walk down the whole street in one direction. Also the beach is really nice and clean

Staff is extremely nice and helpful - we feel totally safe and welcome here. Prices might be a little high but hey: it's a four star hotel, what do you expect. Only downside might be the airplanes

You can borrow kayak and paddle from the hotel. There are a few laundry services in front of the hotel. Welcome drink with cold towels at your arrival were so nice

They have direct beach access from the pool area, which is great for families who want to half/half it. The breakfast is huge, all fresh and constantly replenished. Would definitely return there!

Have to say this is best hotel I have ever been to in Koh Samui, the room is huge and the beach looks amazing. the beach is so clean, private, and so fancy. it’s too not expensive compared to the price as well

The hotel is stunning, rooms are great and the location is fantastic- beautiful relatively quiet beach but when you leave the hotel main entrance your right in the middle of the shopping location

You get the best of both worlds this way. We stayed for 10 days and could have easily stayed longer. Highly recommend for families with kids as the kids club staff are fantastic. Would love to come back and stay again

Loved staying at centara reserve. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, food was very nice and there was a wide selection. You can even take away coffee from the breakfast

Rooms are clean and fresh but small. The location is better for the family. The pool is cool and the beach access is perfect. The beach is perfect. Workers are friendly and smiley.

Stayed for 1 week in early February. Breakfast was lovely with loads of selections. The room was spotless and regularly serviced. The reception staff were obliging and service was prompt. The pool area was always tidy

Fantastic hotel with direct access to beautiful part of the beach away from the  noise and crowd of the party area near Ark bar. Couldn’t fault this hotel it really was fabulous.

The rooms are quite small (we were a couple with 2 suitcases). Breakfast was good and the restaurant by the pool is good as well. You can book taxis through reception as grab does not always work (mafia)

Lubd is my favorite Hotel Hostel !!! Its perfect for solo travelers!!! I met a lot of friends. Have a nice 2 swimming pools in front of the beach and the breakfast is Delicious. But the Welcome drink is only can get

The location is right on the beach, there are restaurants, convenience stores and massage stores within a 5 minute walk. The food and drinks are also delicious at the hotel

The location is a bit out of the way, and the hotel itself is quite old and run down. I was a bit creeped out by some insects, but it was very quiet, and the room had a great view of Chaweng Beach

The investors clearly had a keen eye for this prime beachfront location, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. It's right next to the Renaissance, so I couldn't help but compare

The pool was a bit dirty when I visited, but everything else was fine

This is an older type resort built on a hill overlooking the sea but the property is maintained well and professionally managed so guests can expect a nice stay with no hassle.

I didn't stay in a villa, so I can't comment on that, but in terms of the ocean view rooms, while slightly smaller than the Renaissance, the natural resources here are definitely on par

The location is very nice and convenient to reach even though the exit is quite misleading as an entrance. The hotel has its own private beach. The breakfast menu is very nice and delicious

The resort’s beachfront location means you can enjoy sunrise walks or evening strolls with ease. In terms of location, it’s hard to beat

Not too far from main area, within walking distance but quieter. Room is a bit old. The pool and facilities are well maintained.

The resort I itself was good and full of amenities and well located as its quiet but close to many places as well, however the service was lacking as there was barely any attention paid to guests

For more extensive shopping, Central Koh Samui is just about 20 minutes walk, making it incredibly convenient without being noisy or crowded

The property is within walking distance of Chaweng’s main street, where you’ll find lively restaurants, bars, and shops

Stayed in the oceanfront pool suite and the experience was impeccable. The room was neat, ultra spacious and so pleasant to just chillax and sleep in

The hotel boasts a great location right by Chaweng Beach with nice views and attentive service. The evening fireworks show was spectacular

Personal favourite was the but 1 get 1 free happy hour on the beach from 4-6pm every day!

We recently stayed at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish

Great hotel with stunning views and great rooms. Gym is not great, very small, but the pool and beachfront are lovely. A little less prime of a location.

Good nice hotel. Friendly staff. Close to beach and city centre. Also found a good laundry nearby rachajinda laundry. Been a while since my clothes came back fully cleaned and nothing missing

We stayed in the building near the sea. The gym was decent, and the breakfasts were good – both kids and adults found plenty to eat. The rooms were cozy and clean

The breakfast for the standard room was different from the beach and city view building and had to pay extra for that

The grounds aren't huge but lovely, and there's a shopping mall within walking distance

Make sure to book the suites with a pool view, as the other building is, to put it mildly, quite disappointing! Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The hotel likes me, wife and kid. The Breakfast was adequate, but not gourmet. Of unequivocal benefits gorgeous beach with hotel sunbeds and a huge green area! Recommend

We had a wonderful stay here and would happily return. The entire area is absolutely stunning – surrounded by lush forest with birds singing from early morning, it feels peaceful and very close to nature

For the first three nights, we stayed in a beachfront bungalow. The interior was lovely and comfortable, and being so close to the sea was a great experience

For the remaining five nights, we moved to a deluxe room in the apartment building. The room was slightly older in style, but it offered much more privacy, including a more comfortable balcony space

However, privacy was a bit limited as people frequently walked by and there were no trees or bushes separating the bungalow from the path

The terrace also tended to get sandy and covered with leaves due to the wind, and it was difficult to dry clothes or towels outside since the drying rack was quite small and the wind was strong

We stayed in one of the Pool Villa, which was just perfect with easy access to the main pool and and beach

The beach front restaurant had a lovely relaxed feel to it and the staff were great. All in all a great 1st impression to our Thailand adventure

The room was spacious, and we really appreciated the welcome fruit and the butler service. The duplex king room on the second floor had a low ceiling, and my mom hit her head

The swimming pool is also the largest on Koh Samui. Overall, we had a very good experience

Over 3,000 a night is definitely too expensive. The biggest flaw with Koh Samui, in general, is that both the beaches and the sea are pretty mediocre

The forest! The area is incredibly beautiful! Good breakfast. Very beautiful beach, covered in palm trees. Recommended! Yes, a very good Thai restaurant.

And if you ever get bored of your own pool (hard to imagine!), you can head over to their huge main pool that also faces the beach. Perfect spot to chill and watch the sunset. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay

She explained the beach is currently undergoing repairs after a storm. A seawall of some sort is being constructed. However, the pool area is very nice and you can still access the surrounding shoreline

A 4-star hotel that honestly feels like a 5-star stay! We stayed in the beach bungalow and loved it — we had direct access to the beach and a private pool overlooking the ocean

We enjoyed our food very much. We had a fantastic massage at the spa, which was compensation for the beach construction. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had

The view was just incredible! We also tried the spa and had dinner at the hotel. The food here was surprisingly good — the chef really knows how to cook! Both dinner and breakfast were excellent

I found that the QR code on the room's TV couldn't successfully add the front desk on WhatsApp. This same male staff member answered the phone when I called, saying we could resolve the issue the next morning

One of the highlights of my stay was dining at The Sands restaurant. The ambiance, service, and food were all amazing, making it a dining experience I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the resort

Honestly, everything was perfect, and most of the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our butler, Tak, was also incredibly thoughtful

This hotel literally forms part of the Central Festival Mall complex and includes a rooftop swimming pool and is a 5-minute walk from the beach or just about anything else you want to see/do in Chaweng

We stayed here for three nights. They have a swimming pool and they provide beach/swimming pool towels daily. They have a good deal in cocktails for only 99 baht

All in all we really liked the stay, if you want to close to the center this is the perfect Hotel. Tipp: Ask for a room in the 2. house out of 3, because there is the rooftop pool and the laundry room

The beach is only a 5 minute walk away with beautiful sunrises

I chose to stay longer it was that good, very convenient, great place to stay for solo travellers, family, friends, etc

Enjoyed our time here, the staff were friendly and let us check in as soon as the room was ready. Breakfast was decent, but the best part is the massive pool and all the loungers outside.

I stayed at Samui Verticolor and overall had a really good experience. The location is excellent, close to Chaweng beach, shops, and plenty of restaurants

Does the job. Cheap room in good location in Chaweng. Noisy in corridors. Some rooms essentially lack windows so research rooms a bit before booking. Pool was nice and gym very functional

Right across a very big 24hr grocery store! Pool is fantastic and has a kiddy pool and little playground. Just the washroom setting was kind of weird

Fortunately, the staff keeps a close eye on this. Melia resort should purchase more beach beds & umbrellas. Employee Baw in particular is a really great host at the pool & beach! He makes sure you don't miss anything!

Melia was nice and cozy with an excellent selection of breakfast. The sunbeds are spread across the lagoon pool and nearly always available. The happy hour at the pool bar is also generous

The room and the swim up we booked were lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool area is great, but needs a bit of TLC, slightly tired

We were fortunate enough to host our wedding and have the most incredible four nights at Vana Belle in early September

From the moment we arrived, we felt so well cared for and knew it was the perfect place for our wedding to take place

I came to Thailand for a friend's wedding and took the opportunity to do some short-term traveling. The hotel was very comfortable, with an infinity pool that seamlessly blended with the sea, which was truly breathtaking

Although there were a lot of people at breakfast, their seating arrangement wasn't great, and they didn't allow guests to dine in bathrobes (which I understand, as I had just come from the pool)

Swimming pools are great, breakfast as well. The beach is beautiful but swimming there is not possible as it’s very shallow. Service was not consistent, sometimes great, sometimes less

My husband absolutely loves this hotel! The beach access is super convenient, and the welcoming drink was a nice touch. All the staff are really friendly and the breakfast is fantastic – you can even order off-menu items

I recommend the sea-view rooms; sitting by the window, enjoying the sea breeze, and looking out at the ocean was incredibly relaxing. 5 point deduction is for the breakfast restaurant staff

They offer free yoga classes in the morning. The beach is a bit rocky, making it difficult to swim. I recommend the dinner restaurant, the view is absolutely stunning!

But for a peaceful stay, it’s perfect—and honestly one of the best hotels we’ve experienced in Thailand so far. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed

The only thing to note is the beach bar could reconsider the music choices, no need for club house when there's 3 people at the beach chilling

The hotel is fantastic—exactly what we were looking for to relax and unwind. The breakfast is great, and the large pools are a real highlight. It’s a bit fa from the nightlife, so you’ll need a car or bike to get around

Great location if you want to party, they have a pool party for adults only from the afternoon to the night. Planes fly directly overhead which can get annoying if you are a light sleeper

A great hotel for loud parties – good DJs, good music. Not suitable for a quiet holiday. Music plays until the early hours from all directions. Planes often fly over the hotel, which is also noisy.

Five night stay at Impiana in a sea view room. Location is at the quiet end of Cheweng Noi so many times especially early in the morning it felt like you had the beach to yourself

We enjoyed having dinks and playing pool at the beach bar in between swimming in the ocean or pool and having a massage on the beach next to the resort

The downside as others have mentioned is that it is on the main ring road with no footpaths so it is hard to get to restaurants and shops without either taking a grab, braving the highway, or walking down the beach and cutting through another resort

Whilst the hotel is a bit dated, and where I was staying was up a number of stairs, the rooms were clean and beds comfy. Rooms were serviced daily with fresh bath and beach towels

The included breakfast was excellent and the meal we had in the restaurant was also good. Other dining options are available at other hotels via the beach

I would happily come back again
