My only complaint is that sometimes when you turn the lever for the water you will sometimes get a small electrical shock, but if youre looking to wake up quickly with a shower in the morning the shock is definitely a nice help! We just used our swimsuits or towel to turn the knob and it was fine
Next, the room was so spacious and comfortable! There is an actual comforter on the bed vs many places that just have a sheet. The AC works great, same with hot water. There is plenty of storage for bags, clothing, etc
Best hotel in lamai, everything is near. The commercial road with all the restaurants is just downstairs. The beach is at 4 minutes by walking. Staff is not always here but if you call them they answer right away
What more can you ask for in a place! Spacious room, and clean. And quick check in, took 5 minutes for the guy to arrive after i texted the main number. They also clean the room whenever you ask for them to
Massive bed, bigger than I have ever seen in my life. Very well located near the beach and surrounded by good places to eat or get a drink. Nice view from the room and felt safe for my girlfriend and I
It’s very close to all of the bars, but the noise is very minimal. I would definitely recommend staying here, from the honest staff to the comfortable room and prime location, you cannot go wrong

The personnel is so kind and helpful. We had a private yoga lesson it was very nice. Kids club is nice and there are 1-2 people from the staff with the kids inside. You can have a massage by the pool and in the spa
You can borrow kayak and paddle from the hotel. There are a few laundry services in front of the hotel. Welcome drink with cold towels at your arrival were so nice
The hotel is situated in a perfect spot, on a better part of the beach which was always kept clean by the staff, and in the middle of walking street at the front, although you couldn't hear from inside the hotel grounds which made the location perfect
We were helped everywhere possible. Great breakfast with lots of choice. The Thai food for dinner was authentic and tasty (pretty sure no MSG was used fortunately). Jeen(?) in the lobby was always smiley and friendly
Very nice hotel for families, 2 pools, direct access to the beach (not private), free breakfast for kids, plate and glasses for kids. Food is good and includes a few vegetarian options
The food in the hotel itself was very yummy and extremely well presented. There’s a choice of two swimming pools with the garden pool having a more relaxed vibe

They have direct beach access from the pool area, which is great for families who want to half/half it. The breakfast is huge, all fresh and constantly replenished. Would definitely return there!
As if it was not enough, they brought to us every afternoon a little detail such as chocolates or other treats and the “surprise of the day” which was basically another treat on top, wow! simply ideal and high end luxury
You get the best of both worlds this way. We stayed for 10 days and could have easily stayed longer. Highly recommend for families with kids as the kids club staff are fantastic. Would love to come back and stay again
Across the street, there are many good restaurants where you can enjoy excellent food in the evenings. We would especially like to thank White, who warmly and lovingly helped to make our vacation a memorable one
Have to say this is best hotel I have ever been to in Koh Samui, the room is huge and the beach looks amazing. the beach is so clean, private, and so fancy. it’s too not expensive compared to the price as well
The hotel is stunning, rooms are great and the location is fantastic- beautiful relatively quiet beach but when you leave the hotel main entrance your right in the middle of the shopping location

Stayed for 1 week in early February. Breakfast was lovely with loads of selections. The room was spotless and regularly serviced. The reception staff were obliging and service was prompt. The pool area was always tidy
Service is efficient and friendly, with staff responding promptly and professionally to requests. Amenities are modern, practical, and well-maintained, perfectly suited for both short business stays and extended trips
Awesome one night stay at a good location with good vibes. Staff were very friendly throughout and everything was perfect. Would definitely book a longer stay when I’m back in Samui for a longer trip.
Fantastic hotel with direct access to beautiful part of the beach away from the noise and crowd of the party area near Ark bar. Couldn’t fault this hotel it really was fabulous.
The location is one of the strongest advantages, right in the heart of Chaweng with convenient access to the beach, dining, and transport
Overall, a reliable and comfortable option in Samui, especially for business travelers who prioritize location, efficiency, and comfort

Fantastic hotel, highly recommended - we will definitely stay here again next year. Fabulous facilities, pools are amazing, restaurants great and breakfast is top notch
We had a pleasant stay at Hyatt. Having moved from a nearby hotel, we were happy to see how modern and clean the facilities were. Coconut drinks at breakfast buffet were a plus and the beach was small but cozy
The room view was amazing, and the breakfast selection was really diverse. The kids had a blast in the pool, and there was also a kids' club with various activities scheduled throughout the day.
Globalist treatment is decent, there is a lounge (rare for resort properties) but it does close early at 7pm. Beach is pretty nice but there isn't much sand anymore. Beautiful pools, but they close super early
Everyone was incredibly helpful and hospitable and the resort is absolutely stunning!!!awish yhe beach had more white sand, but we had an incredible experience! We will be back for sure
Stunning hotel. Very helpful staff. The place is a little far from the center but full of its own charm. Excellent breakfast

The pool was a bit dirty when I visited, but everything else was fine
I didn't stay in a villa, so I can't comment on that, but in terms of the ocean view rooms, while slightly smaller than the Renaissance, the natural resources here are definitely on par
The location is a bit out of the way, and the hotel itself is quite old and run down. I was a bit creeped out by some insects, but it was very quiet, and the room had a great view of Chaweng Beach
The investors clearly had a keen eye for this prime beachfront location, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. It's right next to the Renaissance, so I couldn't help but compare
The hotel area is tropical forest with huge amount of cicadas! Buggy service is available and very helpful!
The waves were too strong to go swimming during my visit. The breakfast was good, but the location is a bit out of the way. The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained

A lovely hotel split into 3 different areas with 3 different pools
Main area is right next to the beach
Lovely breakfast large range of different foods
Very friendly and helpful staff
Not too far from main area, within walking distance but quieter. Room is a bit old. The pool and facilities are well maintained.
Great resort. Thai Village rooms are very nice. Great pool by the beach. Good buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel is a very clean and decent place, a nice environment for families, but the pool is insufficient. There is no order taking service when we sit on the beach
The resort I itself was good and full of amenities and well located as its quiet but close to many places as well, however the service was lacking as there was barely any attention paid to guests
Good location, quiet area but close to shops and restaurants.
The sea wasn’t very pleasant to swim in because of the seaweed (but it’s not the hotels fault).

Plenty of taxis outside and a family mart right on the property. They project movies on a large screen right on the beach at night. And have a great restaurant and bar setup if you just want to relax close to your room
The hotel boasts a great location right by Chaweng Beach with nice views and attentive service. The evening fireworks show was spectacular
From the moment we arrived, the service was welcoming 😃
We'd like to give a special shoutout to the Hotel Manager, Boky, and her amazing team for their exceptional professionalism and warm hospitality, which truly enhanced our stay
The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and offered unforgettable, great view!
We’d also like to express our sincere thanks to the restaurant manager and her team for making our dining experiences truly exceptional
One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The service from staff was consistently incredible, and the buffet breakfast was good. Would absolutely return to such a calm and picturesque location

It seemed to be coming from the towels, though, as after they were replaced on the second day, the smell completely disappeared
Good place to stay in koh Samui it’s in the center but the room is a little bit small but not too bad
Great location on the beach and right in the heart of all the nightlife in Chaweng which is great. Although you're so close to all the venue, it was nice and quiet at the hotel.
Great services, conveniently located near all local amenities and well-connected, with easy access to the sea. Breakfast was delicious, though it's a shame there was no chocolate spread.
A beautiful, well-maintained hotel. Delicious breakfasts are served in an open-air restaurant overlooking the sea. The rooms are clean, and the grounds are lush and green
The location is convenient, offering direct access to the sea. However, swimming isn't possible directly in front of the hotel due to shallow water and corals

Great hotel with stunning views and great rooms. Gym is not great, very small, but the pool and beachfront are lovely. A little less prime of a location.
First and foremost, the staff at Mercure Samui was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend it just based upon that. The restaurant/cafe/bar was stellar - offering up great food at really great prices
We stayed in the building near the sea. The gym was decent, and the breakfasts were good – both kids and adults found plenty to eat. The rooms were cozy and clean
Make sure to book the suites with a pool view, as the other building is, to put it mildly, quite disappointing! Otherwise, everything was perfect!
The rooms were just bigger than the bed, after having put a baby cot then then the room had almost no space to even open a second luggage, also there were no disposable toiletries which is generally a given
The only thing to be aware of is that it's divided into two buildings. The second building is located across the street, and its views are vastly different and less desirable ☹️

The swimming pool is also the largest on Koh Samui. Overall, we had a very good experience
This was my first time staying in a villa hotel with a private pool. Honestly, for a hotel of this caliber, there's no real need for a villa, especially since the hotel's main pool is also quite good
We informed the hotel, and they promptly moved us to a different room type and even provided ice for the bump. The hotel offers a lot of activities, including free Muay Thai, sailing, and paddleboarding
Very nice stay, clean and comfortable, always recommend if you like quiet and peaceful holiday.
We enjoyed a varied breakfast included in our stay every day with the bonus of a perfect Cappuccio made especially for us. The on site restaurants had a good selection of dishes on their menus
Very good, the resort is huge, and the sea is clean, but the sand is a bit coarse.

And if you ever get bored of your own pool (hard to imagine!), you can head over to their huge main pool that also faces the beach. Perfect spot to chill and watch the sunset. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay
but Nora Villa(I think we got a room upgrade from Deluxe at that time, thank you!! 💕) is very spacious with big bathtub/window topped shower booth/little private garden and very much thai theme which I like! It was so romantic!! The swimming pool is also great
A 4-star hotel that honestly feels like a 5-star stay!
We stayed in the beach bungalow and loved it — we had direct access to the beach and a private pool overlooking the ocean
The family pool villa we stayed in was always kept stocked with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries; and the bed, although a bit on the firm side, was comfortable enough for our 6-day stay
There are a few things that could be improved:
– The shower had a curtain, which didn’t feel very clean
– The pool loungers were partly broken and should be replaced
– The menu signs at the pool bar were hard to read
– At breakfast, the food didn’t really change, there were only juice concentrates and no plant-based milk options
Even with these small issues, we had a wonderful time and felt very well...
Water pressure wasn’t great but we got by. Gardens and public pool were well-kept and pretty. Generally, the food in the restaurant was amazing, while the free buffet breakfast wasn’t bad

I found that the QR code on the room's TV couldn't successfully add the front desk on WhatsApp. This same male staff member answered the phone when I called, saying we could resolve the issue the next morning
The villa itself was stunning, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort with breathtaking views. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options
Honestly, everything was perfect, and most of the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our butler, Tak, was also incredibly thoughtful
The resort has absolutely everything you could need, and the attention to detail is unmatched. Our private pool, the breathtaking ocean views, and the overall peacefulness made it feel like our own little paradise
Spent part of our honeymoon here! Beautiful beach and excellent service! Our room had a sweet pool and hot tub
We spent a week at Banyan Tree Koh Samui in late October to early November for a couples’ escape, and it was exactly what we hoped for. Our Pool Villa was beautiful and spotless, with plenty of privacy, an easy 5/5

You can reach Chaweng and Fisherman Village in 10 minutes by taxi! Plenty of taxis in the street at the Melia resort!
Only downside; Many guests lay down towels at the pool & beach
Melia was nice and cozy with an excellent selection of breakfast. The sunbeds are spread across the lagoon pool and nearly always available. The happy hour at the pool bar is also generous
please take care people not out towels on the benches in the pool and walk away to breakfast or somewhere else. Just collect them, so someone else can stay there
Set along a beautiful, peaceful stretch of beach, Melia resort is home to one of the longest pools on the island, with many waterfalls and slides and the river like pool creates a serene, almost floating feeling as you move through the property
The room and the swim up we booked were lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool area is great, but needs a bit of TLC, slightly tired
The staff is very nice and generous. The breakfast is great, like the best breakfast at a hotel in Thailand. The location is not great if you want to be close to the city and the restaurants

Friendly staff, delicious breakfasts and a lot of different services in the hotel - spa and fitness room, as well as a restaurant for lunch or dinner, a very good hotel - I recommend to visit.
We were upgraded to one of the largest rooms, near the breakfast area, looking out to sea with an incredible large, private pool
We had good time at the hotel, service was very good, particularly Alex, he took good care of us from the beginning till end. Food was very good as well
All the staff were incredible but we especially want to call out the incredible service of Nicki who looked after us seemingly every hour of the day that we were there, Jeab who helped so much to organise everything in the run up and on the day of the wedding, Zidan who was such an incredible host at the dinner and Ning who was so incredible in the months leading up to the wedding to cater to our every...

The breakfast included was delicious and full of Thai Delights
My husband absolutely loves this hotel! The beach access is super convenient, and the welcoming drink was a nice touch. All the staff are really friendly and the breakfast is fantastic – you can even order off-menu items
I came to Thailand for a friend's wedding and took the opportunity to do some short-term traveling. The hotel was very comfortable, with an infinity pool that seamlessly blended with the sea, which was truly breathtaking
Although there were a lot of people at breakfast, their seating arrangement wasn't great, and they didn't allow guests to dine in bathrobes (which I understand, as I had just come from the pool)
I recommend the sea-view rooms; sitting by the window, enjoying the sea breeze, and looking out at the ocean was incredibly relaxing. 5 point deduction is for the breakfast restaurant staff
However, I'm not sure if it was a language barrier, but their attitude was not very good. I also tried the hotel's spa. The environment was excellent and very private; I heard it was even an award-winning spa

Everything was absolutely amazing 🤩
The hotel is fantastic—exactly what we were looking for to relax and unwind. The breakfast is great, and the large pools are a real highlight. It’s a bit fa from the nightlife, so you’ll need a car or bike to get around

Whilst the hotel is a bit dated, and where I was staying was up a number of stairs, the rooms were clean and beds comfy. Rooms were serviced daily with fresh bath and beach towels
The downside as others have mentioned is that it is on the main ring road with no footpaths so it is hard to get to restaurants and shops without either taking a grab, braving the highway, or walking down the beach and cutting through another resort
We enjoyed having dinks and playing pool at the beach bar in between swimming in the ocean or pool and having a massage on the beach next to the resort
Five night stay at Impiana in a sea view room. Location is at the quiet end of Cheweng Noi so many times especially early in the morning it felt like you had the beach to yourself
The included breakfast was excellent and the meal we had in the restaurant was also good. Other dining options are available at other hotels via the beach
I would happily come back again

Exceptional hotel! Went with my wife and the hotel, service, food and activities are fantastic. Would definitely recommend! Bonus is all the food is halal! Perfect hotel for a romantic, luxury stay.

So, would i come back? No, maybe not
Save the money and go somewhere else if you dont plan to go to the pool villa. Maybe i Will give it another chance when the property breath some ”fresh” youthful air…
The property is very grand, here for the hotel offers a buggy service, which is very convenient! The pool area is also very nice, though the beach a bit less since the sand is a bit grainy
