Room was clean, I think I was in a refurbished one.
Door lock, wasn't great, didn't feel secure or safe to be honest.
Both myself and friend had booked a room each as was pretty cheap. But wasn't put next door to one another. Stayed for 3nights, on the second night I was woken in the early hours by someone trying my door handle to get in. I could hear them walk along and try the next doors as well. Also tried mine again when passed on way back.
The door only locks by pushing a button! They are a louvere type door, so not great for safety.
I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Fisherman’s Village Samui.
