Great hotel with great staff. We were helped everywhere possible. Everything very clean. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Fresh delicious fruit. The Thai food for dinner was authentic and tasty (pretty sure no MSG was used fortunately). Jeen(?) in the lobby was always smiley and friendly. We will definitely come back. :)

Very nice hotel for families, 2 pools, direct access to the beach (not private), free breakfast for kids, plate and glasses for kids. Food is good and includes a few vegetarian options. A very nice hotel. Location is perfect: right at the beginning of Chaweng do you can walk down the whole street in one direction. Also the beach is really nice and clean. Great location, calm hotel which is super important because the main street can get hectic. We didn't get breakfast, ratherenjoyed many of the restaurants that are in Chawang. The pool are is really beautiful, whole place is filled wity greenery. The bathroom can be enhanced with another towel rack, we only had one hook for a towel.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Chaweng Regent Beach resort and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our room was 203 and whilst the bathroom took my breath away, I would say that if you wanted a quieter nights sleep to stay further into the resort nearer to the beach. Melia was nice and cozy with an excellent selection of breakfast. The sunbeds are spread across the lagoon pool and nearly always available. The happy hour at the pool bar is also generous. A fabulous holiday at the Meliá. The staff, in particular in The Level were so lovely. Choeng Mon is a great location for those wanting a beautiful beach, loads of great restaurant/food options, without being too busy. Receptionist insisted on taking a photo of my bookings from trip.com from my phone's apps, although she has sighted my bookings from their own system and also photocopy my passport already. This is our second time to Samui and we loved every second of it. We had a pleasant stay at Hyatt. Having moved from a nearby hotel, we were happy to see how modern and clean the facilities were. Located right by the Lomprayah ferry, this is a convenient hotel. There are several little restaurants, convenience stores and spas all within a short walking distance. The aircon worked and there wasn't any bugs. So it was good for the price point.

It's on the bigger side for an resort. Rooms are nice, clean and staff is nice as well. There are just a few things that I expected better at this resort. 1. Food of the restaurant is mediocre at best and takes ages to arrive. 2. Beach towels are always gone, sometimes have to wait two hours. 3. Lighting of restaurant at night is not really nice. The hotel is great, with an excellent location. There are also beach performances in the evenings. The service is good, and it's very close to the night market. It does stay lively and a bit noisy until after midnight, but overall, I'm very satisfied.

Exceptional and friendly service - secluded and quiet feel in the room but lively outside Private Pool was awesome

The hotel is really nice and the service is great. The staff was really thoughtful and available. We had a problem with electricity in the room, after reporting it to the reception a technician was at the room in the time it took me to get back to the room. The villa pool is great. Just the right size. The bed was really comfy.

A 4-star hotel that honestly feels like a 5-star stay! We stayed in the beach bungalow and loved it — we had direct access to the beach and a private pool overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed our stay, really good value, amazing food. Was maybe a 5-star resort 20 years ago when it was built, but not truly a 5-star resort in the modern sense of the word. Staff seemed a bit off-hand, not truly anticipating one’s needs but professional enough. I would add en extra star to my review if they were more helpful and better trained. We stayed for 6 nights in this great little resort with fantastic location. Quiet but close to the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and private. The restaurant is great with lots of delicious meal options (the Mango sticky rice is the best we've tried by far!). Overall, a nice, affordable resort with character.
