Where to stay with kids in Ko Samui

Service: The staff were very welcoming. Cleanliness: The pool was very clean. Environment: It was really nice, and breakfast was plentiful.

I stayed in a Garden Pool Villa, which was very spacious and thoughtfully designed. 2 m deep) was a great size, and the villa felt well equipped with many details focused on guest comfort

Great, with excellent service.

The bed in the room wasn't very comfortable, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower were difficult to open. The hotel should really check these and replace them promptly

Also, some of the toilets had an unpleasant smell! The Japanese restaurant was good, and the breakfast staff provided excellent service, though the food itself was just average

The hotel offered plenty of activities, including a small kindergarten for parents to leave their kids

With multiple pools, we could enjoy a swim in peace, and we even saw little birds coming to drink water from the pool. The hotel grounds are quite extensive, and a leisurely stroll around was very pleasant

We arrived in the morning, and our room wasn't ready yet, but the front desk staff warmly invited us to try out the various facilities and services

We treated ourselves to a spa session after a tiring journey; it was quite pricey, but there was a discount on the first day, and it was truly, truly comfortable! Additionally, our check-in was on a Sunday, so we got to catch a fire show, and the iron flower performance was a novel experience

When we were tired from exploring, we'd head to the lounge for some drinks, and in the evening, we could enjoy a drink while feeling the sea breeze and watching the sunset. It was incredibly relaxing and comfortable

I feel that this hotel deserves a thorough review. We decided to stay at Intercontinental Samui for our wedding anniversary after checking out many hotels on the island, and it was a great decision

The hotel staff were also the most enthusiastic I've ever encountered; they always greeted us with the biggest smiles whenever we saw them. Overall, it was a great experience

The ocean view from the balcony on the third floor is amazing! Swimming along the nearby beach and even swimming in the hotel pool is fantastic

We did the check out at 12h and we ask if we could stay in the swimming pool for some hours, and they even gave us some towels

Great hotel! But make sure you get a room with a sea view! The view from the balcony is stunning. Everything is new and clean, the air conditioning is good, the mattress is comfortable, and the bed linens are excellent

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. we especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of the sea

They have a nice pool(appears bigger in the pictures than it is ) The breakfast was great The staff was very friendly There is a shortcut to the beach so like a 5-7min walk to the beach

It is a wonderful place to stay in. The area is beautiful, colourful with a lot of plants everywhere. Perfect location and staff members are so kind and helpful. We will come back here later for sure.

It felt like a maze of wonder, and my inner child was in her absolute element! I was here for almost a month while completing my yoga teacher training in the beautiful on-site shala, and I had the opportunity to experience several different rooms

Located in perfect spot by the chaweng beach. I didn't even moved 20 feet from the resort since everything was so close by. Rooms have tasteful decor, the pool stays open till 10 pm and staffs were very warm

It is indescribable and fantastic! The pool is lovely and shaded by surrounding trees, a lovely place to relax and swim around if that's what you like to do :) the beach is just a small stroll away, through the resort that is

We stay here for 5 days and we love our stay here. I stay in Junior Suite Pool view. In room is well-furnished and clean. The beach here also nice with the restaurant of hotel ,we enjoy have a drink and enjoy our beach

The staffs here are also friendly and professional,they treat us as a family. I love it there and love our Stay. I would come back here again for sure

Room size ok - everything available what you need. Beds are partly saggy (Not for elder people!), no noise protection, wifi ok, pool is large. The hygiene of the breakfast buffet is marginal (Don't try fruits and salad)

What an amazing place! We staid here for a week in a junior suite and had a marvellous time. The atmosphere at the resort is something we've never experienced before

The personnel is so kind and helpful. We had a private yoga lesson it was very nice. Kids club is nice and there are 1-2 people from the staff with the kids inside. You can have a massage by the pool and in the spa

The hotel is situated in a perfect spot, on a better part of the beach which was always kept clean by the staff, and in the middle of walking street at the front, although you couldn't hear from inside the hotel grounds which made the location perfect

We were helped everywhere possible. Great breakfast with lots of choice. The Thai food for dinner was authentic and tasty (pretty sure no MSG was used fortunately). Jeen(?) in the lobby was always smiley and friendly

Very nice hotel for families, 2 pools, direct access to the beach (not private), free breakfast for kids, plate and glasses for kids. Food is good and includes a few vegetarian options

The food in the hotel itself was very yummy and extremely well presented. There’s a choice of two swimming pools with the garden pool having a more relaxed vibe

The only downside was that the rooms felt a bit small, especially if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage. However, considering the affordable price and good facilities, it was not a major issue

Great hotel very family and dog friendly. Plenty for the children to do with pool table , table tennis , child pool with slide, borrow games and books, internet is good and pc stations for your use

They also gave us many great recommendations for places to visit and delicious food around Samui. We were truly impressed and not disappointed at all

Melia was nice and cozy with an excellent selection of breakfast. The sunbeds are spread across the lagoon pool and nearly always available. The happy hour at the pool bar is also generous

Set along a beautiful, peaceful stretch of beach, Melia resort is home to one of the longest pools on the island, with many waterfalls and slides and the river like pool creates a serene, almost floating feeling as you move through the property

please take care people not out towels on the benches in the pool and walk away to breakfast or somewhere else. Just collect them, so someone else can stay there

The room and the swim up we booked were lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool area is great, but needs a bit of TLC, slightly tired

The warm welcome at the front desk from Lucy, along with Zena and Sachi at Level, made us feel instantly at home

Not too far from main area, within walking distance but quieter. Room is a bit old. The pool and facilities are well maintained.

The resort I itself was good and full of amenities and well located as its quiet but close to many places as well, however the service was lacking as there was barely any attention paid to guests

Good location, quiet area but close to shops and restaurants. The sea wasn’t very pleasant to swim in because of the seaweed (but it’s not the hotels fault).

For more extensive shopping, Central Koh Samui is just about 20 minutes walk, making it incredibly convenient without being noisy or crowded

The resort’s beachfront location means you can enjoy sunrise walks or evening strolls with ease. In terms of location, it’s hard to beat

They have direct beach access from the pool area, which is great for families who want to half/half it. The breakfast is huge, all fresh and constantly replenished. Would definitely return there!

You get the best of both worlds this way. We stayed for 10 days and could have easily stayed longer. Highly recommend for families with kids as the kids club staff are fantastic. Would love to come back and stay again

Have to say this is best hotel I have ever been to in Koh Samui, the room is huge and the beach looks amazing. the beach is so clean, private, and so fancy. it’s too not expensive compared to the price as well

The hotel is stunning, rooms are great and the location is fantastic- beautiful relatively quiet beach but when you leave the hotel main entrance your right in the middle of the shopping location

Loved staying at centara reserve. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, food was very nice and there was a wide selection. You can even take away coffee from the breakfast

Fantastic hotel with direct access to beautiful part of the beach away from the  noise and crowd of the party area near Ark bar. Couldn’t fault this hotel it really was fabulous.

The rooms are quite small (we were a couple with 2 suitcases). Breakfast was good and the restaurant by the pool is good as well. You can book taxis through reception as grab does not always work (mafia)

Lubd is my favorite Hotel Hostel !!! Its perfect for solo travelers!!! I met a lot of friends. Have a nice 2 swimming pools in front of the beach and the breakfast is Delicious. But the Welcome drink is only can get

Perfect social vibe and location, but cleanliness needs work Overall, Lub d is a really cute place. The facilities are great with two pools and direct beach access. The room was small but cozy and comfortable

The location is right on the beach, there are restaurants, convenience stores and massage stores within a 5 minute walk. The food and drinks are also delicious at the hotel

This hotel was absolutely amazing! The location was an absolute oasis of calm and tranquility! We had a villa with a pool overlooking the sea which we used every day! Stunning beach which was very quiet and great for swimming

We'd start the day by our pool in the villa, move down to the beach around lunch time and end the day by the fantastic infinity pool with an amazing sunset

We loved our stay at the Six Senses Samui and would love to go back. You could easily spend a week here without having the urge to leave the resort premises. The highlights for us were the variety of common areas

The food at the main restaurant was amazing, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The tastes, offering and the quality of produce was truly outstanding. Lunch at the beach and by the pool were also great

The only downside of the resort would be all the stairs, which were not fully ideal when travelling with a baby in a stroller. But the staff were again super helpful and accommodating

Our stay at Nora Buri Resort was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made us feel instantly at home

Resort is a little bit old but very beautifully built and they have many types of rooms. I with my husband stayed at the sea view room and the view was amazing. Their pools are one of the best I've seen so far

The pool was a bit dirty when I visited, but everything else was fine

I didn't stay in a villa, so I can't comment on that, but in terms of the ocean view rooms, while slightly smaller than the Renaissance, the natural resources here are definitely on par

The location is a bit out of the way, and the hotel itself is quite old and run down. I was a bit creeped out by some insects, but it was very quiet, and the room had a great view of Chaweng Beach

The investors clearly had a keen eye for this prime beachfront location, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. It's right next to the Renaissance, so I couldn't help but compare

The hotel area is tropical forest with huge amount of cicadas! Buggy service is available and very helpful!

The waves were too strong to go swimming during my visit. The breakfast was good, but the location is a bit out of the way. The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained

The service is very high level and the staff are all amazing. Special mention to Bank, Bebe and Manit who were really very friendly, welcoming and paid special attention to our young children

We had a pleasant stay at Hyatt. Having moved from a nearby hotel, we were happy to see how modern and clean the facilities were. Coconut drinks at breakfast buffet were a plus and the beach was small but cozy

One downside though-- We were away 10am-330pm on our second day and came back to the room to find it still not cleaned

My husband and I were there from 23 to 28 March 2025. We had a splendid time, plus the facilities was excellent, including the spa

the staff was starting cleaning at 330 which felt very late and inconvenient as we were ready to rest

The staff welcomed us so warmly and made us feel like family there and they are also soooo accommodating!! Top customer service is a big deal to me and this hotel and the staff nailed it

It’s definitely children friendly, with many different pools and a games room, children’s club, etc. the games room has things for adults as well such as a pool table, table tennis and table hockey

The rooms are beautiful and cleaned daily, there is always plenty of water topped up in the rooms and little touches that make the stay enjoyable. It is often busy around the pool if it is sunny so get there early

There are friendly security staff on hand 24 hours to ensure you cross safely and it’s worth it! We really liked the beach resort. Thank you Outrigger, cannot fault the wonderful service

My partner and I stayed there for 6 nights in mid-January and we absolutely loved it. The hospitality is out of this world and we felt so welcomed and had the best experience ever

We had a wonderful stay here and would happily return. The entire area is absolutely stunning – surrounded by lush forest with birds singing from early morning, it feels peaceful and very close to nature

For the remaining five nights, we moved to a deluxe room in the apartment building. The room was slightly older in style, but it offered much more privacy, including a more comfortable balcony space

For the first three nights, we stayed in a beachfront bungalow. The interior was lovely and comfortable, and being so close to the sea was a great experience

However, privacy was a bit limited as people frequently walked by and there were no trees or bushes separating the bungalow from the path

The terrace also tended to get sandy and covered with leaves due to the wind, and it was difficult to dry clothes or towels outside since the drying rack was quite small and the wind was strong

The hotel environment is fantastic, no complaints there. They offer a free shuttle to Chaweng Beach, have three outdoor pools, and two gyms. I even spotted a big gecko 🦎, but it was quite friendly.

Room was very large large bathroom and with tasteful Thai furniture and decorations, with fruit and free minibar, shower took long time to get warm and water would completely wet the floortowel

Bar service is a little slow as staff didn't man the pool bar all day long. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend

Unfortunately the breakfast was disappointing, coffee not very good and no mango nor papaya, no walnuts, almonds, linseeds or sunflowerseeds for müsli. also the vinigraite was watery and juices not freshly pressed

An excellent hotel throughout the stay. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with fresh juices and a fantastic egg station! Pool is clean and relaxing. Sunbeds always available due to sunbed rules

Rooms: here is a fly in the ointment: everything seems to be fine, and a coffee machine, and mosquito repellent, and lavender for the pillow, and what not!!! But! The audibility is simply terrible, the smell of sewage in the toilet and a very noisy air conditioner! Without earplugs, no way

The room was a bit small and pricey, but the service was excellent. They even arranged a surprise for our anniversary. The whole atmosphere was very chill, though there were a lot of tourists

After talking to her, we then realized she is promoting Anantara resort, and offered us time to spent to visit the resort with a presentation by the team. We gladly accepted the invitation

As soon as we came out from the airport, we were welcomed and stopped by Farah, whom we did not know but she is so helpful and wanted to offer us help in our transportation to the hotel

The next day, we were being picked up and attended the presentation at Anantara resort. We are familiar with this type of presentation, anyway it was a nice session to get to know about this resort

hotel is near to the airport so as you swim at the pool you can have a great view of the flight taking off/landing. Overall it was a pleasant stay & I will definitely come again to stay here

The pool is very large and beautiful, but if you want the ocean you have to go across the street to the Blue Lagoon area. The rooms are very clean and spacious

Not tried the pool but it looks amazing and is 108m long and as the hotel is only partially open, it isn't busy at all. Would definitely stay again at this current price

The Teak is a part of the Blue Lagoon, but on the opposite side of the road. We really enjoyed our stay her even though the hotel is far from finished

Friendly staff, very welcoming and informative. We stayed in a room with a private pool and swing. Walking distance to the beach, they offer chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Tree top restaurant is amazing

Very Good and clean hotel  We took the garden private pool suit, it was far away from the beach and restaurants although buggy service was available

As we had a family member celebrating her birthday, the resort was so kind to prepare a sweet message and cake for her, together with a token during our departure

We had one of the Ocean Pool Villas for our stay. It was clean, bright, spacious, and comfortable. The beach view and easy access to the beach was great

It was very relaxing to lounge by your private pool while feeling like you're on the beach. The majority of the staff are quite friendly and pleasant. Anything we asked of them was done without hesitation or fuss

By the third day there were never any pool towels or day beds available. Cleaning of the rooms took most of the day which was annoying as they would knock in the afternoon when you were getting ready to go out

Great location and very warm reception with excellent staff. The only problem is with the condensation of the AC system which made the room extremely damp and they are trying to get this fixed.

Clean, quiet on shoulder season. Good access to beach if you can climb a wall 😂. Staff all very polite and accommodating. Decor a little dated and shower water leaks into sink area but all still very nice

The location of the resort is down the quieter end of Chaweng Beach which I didn't really mind, but if you want to be closer to the action you may want to reconsider

My kids LOVED the kids club! They wanted to spend all their time there and after we returned to Dubai they kept asking to go back to the kids club! I especially loved the Thai kickboxing class which was such a unique experience for my kiddos

Exceptional hotel! Went with my wife and the hotel, service, food and activities are fantastic. Would definitely recommend! Bonus is all the food is halal! Perfect hotel for a romantic, luxury stay.

The car transfer was very fast, and there was also a play area for children.

The property is very grand, here for the hotel offers a buggy service, which is very convenient! The pool area is also very nice, though the beach a bit less since the sand is a bit grainy

A Ritz Carlton with loads of cheap outdoor stuff? When you the main pool (that’s is way to Big and no privacy” You Will understand.   So, would i come back? No, maybe not

Save the money and go somewhere else if you dont plan to go to the pool villa. Maybe i Will give it another chance when the property breath some ”fresh” youthful air…
