The room was what you’d expect of that price. Free coffee and small bars in the lobby between 6-10 am, nice lobby for that matter. Nice staff, very playful and took time to entertain our 1 year old while we had coffee in the morning. Honestly the staffs demeanor compensated for the things lacking in the hotel as it was a little run down, but again, you get what you pay for and booking one day before!
Beach was very pebbly (is that a word?), we were told the Lipa Noi beach is better but there got around to visit that.
Props to the night market, we never grew tired of it after staying 3 nights. Also being 5 minute walking distance from the pier is also a bonus.
We rented a motorbike for 200 bhts a day and round the island in a day.
Evening time you can walk to the seaside 100 metres away from the hotel and watch the sunset and enjoy the sea breeze.
