Sea Love Bungalows in Baan Tai

On first impressions it was very badly lit for our late arrival. The walk ways are sand , and reception is at far end of resort. My suitcase was ruined as sand got in my wheels and they seized. Our standard bungalow number 14. Was basically a potting shed painted white. There was a padlock on the door. The door was too small for door frame so had huge gaps around it. There were alot of mosquitos in the room. Mattress was too big for bed frame so the bed bowed in the middle. And was very lumpy as was the one pillow we got each. The shabby curtain on the window was just hanging by 2 screws on a piece of string. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed one. When we informed the owner we were leaving and why , he wasn't too bothered and didn't offer any kind of refund. There was a lovely beach ⛱️

Arrived at accommodation, first impressions were very positive. Loved the quirky signs and use of props, creating a seaside beach feel. The bar and restaurant area was small and compact, with a small pool. Infront was a golden sandy beach, with beanbags and hammocks! It was very quiet and peaceful, which pleased us. The staff were professional and helpful. We were taken to our bungalow which was no.15 where the French door was padlocked! Upon entering it had a beach hut feel, but soon became apparent itwas shabby and in need of updating and repainting. The curtain was quite badly stained. The bathroom was by no means “superior” the sink plug hole was green(corroded) the tiling marked by grey paint splashes used to repaint the plinth that the basin sat upon. Wall tiles in places had been painted over and some even missing behind the toilet. The floor towel was bleach stained. The shower when used , flooded the bathroom ! The bed was large in size, but was 2 beds put together with a mattress topper in place. There was a pillow each, with barely any filling what so ever. We were given a fleece throw incase we were cold at night, by no means big enough! We both hardly slept for the duration of our stay as it was like lying on bricks. When we booked the images provided to us, bear no resemblance to what was presented to us. It appears those images were taken of newly appointed concrete bungalows at the entrance to the development, which is very misleading and we feel it misrepresentation.
