Sea Breeze Resort in Haad Rin

We loved this place we loved our room the view was amazing the room is cozy and totally worth the price

We stayed in a room with a panoramic view for 4 days. The views make up for some of the room's shortcomings, which I'll describe below. First, the good news. The villa is very spacious. The bed is comfortable. I'll show you the view in the photo; it's absolutely beautiful. I'd say it's incredible: waking up and the first thing you see, lying right in your Dio bed, is a view of the sea and mountains. :)) The refrigerator freezes well; the ice never melted. The bathroom has excellent water pressure and temperature. The room also has a bed and a sofa. There's plenty of storage space. The grounds are spacious, and there's a pool. There are plenty of sun loungers. There's a restaurant on the 3rd floor with a gorgeous view. Since the beach is a bit away from the noise, the room was perfectly quiet. There's a large tree next to the room, and crickets fly and glow, which is very beautiful. There's a nice beach next to the hotel; you can see it from the balcony. Of course, the tides are very strong, but when the water is high, it's an excellent and clean beach. There's a pontoon on the beach; if you go there in the evening, you'll see glowing plankton; it's very beautiful. There's a pier nearby; you can buy tickets directly at the reception desk. If you're arriving at Cardiff Pier, you can be met there and taken to the hotel. Please let the reception know in advance. The staff is polite and will help you with everything.

Cons:
1. You have to walk uphill, which wasn't really a problem for us, as it's really short.

2. The outlets don't work very well; the electrical system needs to be checked. Even the standard floor lamps in the room didn't work every time. We had to tweak the wires.

3. Since the hotel is on a hill and surrounded by trees, there are quite a few insects on the balcony.

4. The chair on the balcony is broken; the handle keeps falling off. It looks like it's been repaired before, but it doesn't help; I think replacing it would be easier.

5. The safe and the room entrance are locked with regular padlocks. I haven't seen this in a long time. I think it needs to be made more convenient for guests.

The downsides are minor, but they're more than offset by the spaciousness of the room and its view. The only thing is that it might be a bit of a challenge with a stroller and children, going up the hill. I recommend this hotel, as long as you're prepared to make the short walk.

P.S. There's a talking bird on the hotel grounds. He talks very well; we spent about 20 minutes hanging out with him.

Wonderful place on a great location. The food is delicious. The view from our cabin absolutely marvelous with a big balcony.

Very helpful staff, and an amazing view from the restaurant. Rooms are very big and nicely decorated. Two beaches (Haad Rin and Leela) are within walking distance and breakfast is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Lovely location at the top of the hill with a fantastic view over the sea and balcony particularly during sunset. Rustic bungalow/room which was charming in its simplicity but had started to show wear and tear (gap in top of door to balcony). Would have hoped for a kettle and free tea/coffee.

But overall good stay-lady on reception very kind/friendly and allowed me early check in. Would stay here again for the price

Views from the hotel are stunning. The bungalows are dated but this reflects the price. There is a steep hill to the hotel but it was worth it. It is close to the walking street for bars and food.

Beautiful hotel in very ancient style, with a lot of decor elements, which make it very unique. Big pool and the sun bath area. The location is a bit on the top of the mountain, so you have to climb up. But we had a bike, so it was ok. And the view from our room was stunning 🤩
