Cyana Resort in Thong Sala

We stayed in a bungalow upstairs which had more of a view. The bungalows were lovely. I will say I thought it was a little misleading with the beach view as it wasn’t really a beach you could go on and did not look inviting. The pool was really good, we enjoyed plenty of pool days with the bar right next to it. The downside was the food , there was an American breakfast option and other breakfasts but no menus for dinner or lunch or bar food etc . We did ask one day and got chicken fried rice for lunch but it was all limited. You can hire mopeds for around the island which we did for 2 days and the owner gave us great recommendations for places to eat about a 5 minute ride away which were one of the best meals we’ve ever had with gorgeous sunsets . We stayed for the full moon party which was 25 mins away on a Tuktuk. The hotel can organise a taxi for you or you can stand outside and flag one down. Another little downside was the water in the room didn’t always work and sometimes we had to wait to shower or flush the toilet.. but it always came back on again and didn’t really pose an issue to us. The bed was comfy and we had our own sitting area with a hammock also. Staff super friendly and owners were lovely and chatty. Would stay again. You can see from one of the pictures of me looking out from our balcony how the beach really looked in front of me. About 25 mins away on moped we did a zip line with come fly with us.
