I also want to highly recommend the beach here. It's incredibly clear, and you can even bring your own snorkeling gear (just remember to be safe!) to see small schools of fish, though not in huge numbers. While it certainly doesn't compare to offshore snorkeling trips, I was very satisfied to be able to do this right in front of the hotel. It's especially stunning when the sun is shining.
You might occasionally spot some friendly cats and dogs around the hotel grounds. The staff were all very warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!
