Luxury Apartment Unique Residences in Bang Rak Beach

Hygiene: Although the room was cleaned daily, there were bugs and a strong musty smell. I was bitten several times and it was very itchy! The whole room felt damp. The blankets and pillows were very damp. Uncomfortable 😞

Facilities: The bed felt like it was about to fall apart; it creaked with every movement. Being located in the mountains, getting around is inconvenient. Going up and down the mountain involves a long, very steep mountain path. I tried it once, and it was extremely strenuous 😓 Even young people couldn't handle it; it was more tiring than running 1 kilometer. Driving also requires caution; the road is too narrow and steep, which is a major drawback.

Environment: The view from the room was very beautiful, especially the restaurant area. The pool and sea view were very photogenic.

Service: The staff were all very nice.

Summary: The price-performance ratio is acceptable for Koh Samui. It's a good place for taking photos, but the accommodation was uncomfortable and getting around was inconvenient.

The pool and the view are the best part of this hotel! Incredible! The staff are also amazing for the most part. We were swimming one evening at 8pm and the pool can be seen from one part of the restaurant. I did a handstand and was pretending to move my feet like a synchronized swimmer and an employee from the restaurant came over and yelled at us and ruined our time! We left the pool! He said we were diving in the pool?!?!? No we weren’t! He wouldn’t even hear us out. It was so rude. Also, the worst part of the stay was the check in. Our driver dropped us at the resident side I guess. But there are no signs at all for the driver to know. When you call a grab, make sure you put in Maithy restaurant and hotel or whatever. Because if you put in UniQue it brings you to the wrong place! There’s no employees there, the security wouldn’t help us, so we stood outside for 30 mins before I got someone on the phone to come pick us up. The shuttle service to bring you down to the street, or up from the street, stops at 8pm! Which is too early. The last place we stayed at in Phuket, Indochine, had 24 hour shuttle service. The owners of this place need to visit Indochine and they will see what a 5 star hotel is all about! Other than that, the room, the pool, the views and sunsets were amazing. Good location. The cleaners were great, the front desk staff was great, the breakfast people were great. Thank you
