Rummana Boutique Resort in Lamai Beach

A nice, quiet little hotel, free from unnecessary noise and dust. I recommend it.

The area of Rummana is In the near end of Lamai near the popular tourist spot making it a quiet and relaxing spot. It is well maintained and room is amazingly clean and smells nice.
Staff are pleasant. Food is a bit pricey but is manageable.

Nice hotel/resort. Located just outside the busy town center, easily accessible by taxi. The hotel is situated on a beautiful sandy beach and has a great pool. The cottages are set in a lovely tropical garden. However, some maintenance could be improved. The kids had a cottage with a broken shower, but after discussing this, they were upgraded the next day. The service and friendly staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We stayed in renovated cottages... Everything seemed fine, but I wouldn't go back to this particular hotel; I'd consider another one. The location itself is excellent—quiet, peaceful, not crowded, the sea is clean, everything is nearby (massage, cafes, markets) and sights. The cottages are small and a bit dark, the road inside the hotel winds like a maze between the cottages, there's lots of greenery along the path, and the breakfasts are good.

Hello! I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, I chose an older room because of the bathroom. I recommend choosing new rooms (there is almost no difference in price), they will be located closer to the sea and will be fresher.
Pros - a beautiful beach location at the end of the lamai near the rocks, there are large rocks at the bottom but they do not bother you at all because you can see them and they are located far from each other. There is less fuel oil on the sand, unlike the main part of the lamai.
- there are a lot of funny cats in the hotel, I fed them, I was very glad to meet them and spend time))
- good cleaning of the rooms
- breakfasts are not bad, lots of fruit
- reception and restaurant staff
Cons - the location is still remote, a little inconvenient to go to the ring road because there is always active traffic in this location. At the same time, there is a 7 \ 11 within walking distance. All this does not apply to the hotel itself and this remoteness can be considered as a plus, in this part of the beach there is less traffic
There was an incident in the room with 2 huge cockroaches. In the entire history of my numerous trips to Thailand I encountered this for the second time. And the issue here is definitely not about cleaning.
I do not understand why there are no coffee machines at breakfast like in all hotels, the poor waiters walk around all morning with teapots offering coffee that is heavily diluted

Great stay at Rummana. Location isn't exactly the best on the beach, but it's much more peaceful and relaxed than the main area, and still has solid options for dining and such.
