Rock And Treehouse Resort in Khao Sok

Loved-loved-loved it! Oasis in the jungle. Stayed with children for three nights. Very friendly and lovely people working there. Clean rooms with awesome views :) Everything in the room worked nicely, air conditioner and dehumidifier. Children specially loved the toilet (Japanese smart one). I’m very thankful that we could create our core memories in this hotel :)

I loved this place! It really was the most beautiful setting tucked into the forest with Beautiful bungalows, spectacular restaurant area and very kind and helpful staff . I would highly recommend staying here . Watch out for the monkeys that come to visit !

Magical to sleep in a tree house with a tree through the bedroom. The sounds of the jungle are incredible and you wake up to monkeys on the neighbouring roof top

The view is very beautiful and the breakfast is a bit good not really and the beds were hard and there were nice monkeys!!!!!!

We loved our stay at Rock & Treehouse Resort. It is very well-located, a short walk away from the strip full of bars and massage parlors and right at the foot of a gorgeous mountain. Breakfast was great! The lady at the reception was very sweet and helpful.

What a stunning and beatuiful back to nature resort.

Due to travel plans we arrived very early about 3 hours before check in. Understandly rooms were not ready. Staff let us relax and we slept comfortably on the outside sofas until room was ready. They actually sped up getting ourbroom ready early. Excellent service. The reception staff member was exceptional at explaining surroundings and nearby places to see. Also organised our tubingbdown Khao Sok river which was an unforgettable experience. Just imagine a lazy river in Jurassic Park.

A little walk to the town and not very lit when returning at night but hilarious trying to navigate.

Free use of umbrellas just in case of the common Thailand downfall.

Only downside was the clenliness of the small pool with no seating area by the pool.....but it as the jungle.

Beautiful location! Room is very nice and clean, their doing maintenance at the pool at the moment which is a shame, bet it looks amazing at night! We really like the hotel! 10/10 would recommend

The location of this place is great. In the midst of nature, and a few mins walk from a few restaurants and shops. It's cool to have the monkeys around. Rooms are clean. The common spaces are a bit worn out though, there are some works going on. It's a shame they are not taken more care of, adding some deck chairs to chill next to the pool for exempl would be a plus

So many positives: Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My husband has dietary restrictions and they were more than willing to accommodate him. I love that the hotel has multiple activities you can schedule with them, and they figure out transport & guide for you. We did the half-day jungle trek and it was one of the best experiences we had on our 3-week long vacation. If you like nature and/or animals, I highly recommend this tour. It was INCREDIBLE. The rooms were massive. Nice wooden floors. Walls of the bedroom were all giant picture windows which was beautiful. The outdoor balcony is huge. The bathroom was huge. Good toilets and good water temp. Monkeys frequented the area which was cool to see. Rooms contain mini fridge and lockbox. Food at the resort hotel was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was a bit simple but it did the trick. This resort is a 5 min drive from Khao Sok National Park which is so convenient! Also within a couple minutes of a tiny town with a couple restaurants & cafes. We did not use the pool although they do have a small one.

My complaints are few and minor: The water pressure in the shower sometimes gave out momentarily, but that's understandable seeing as you're staying in the jungle. AC took a while to get going and cool the room down, but if you take the physical key they give you and leave the key card in the room to run electricity (and AC), it gets better. I think my biggest issue was that the curtains on the bedroom windows didn't shut all the way. At least one window most certainly will be facing another bungalow or the restaurant. Especially at night when it's dark outside and you turn the lights on inside, you can see everything... I wish the curtains overlapped instead of leaving a gap between them.

Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and we would for sure stay here again. I recommend it. I rate it 4.5/5 stars, rounded up to 5!

My daughter and I were in awe of the architecture of the resort, stilted cabins surrounding a maze of walkways and a lush jungle pool. The staff was welcoming and our room had a large deck and wonderful views. Monkeys visited once a day and posed for photos. Breakfast was included and was pretty standard as to what we’ve had during our visit. The resort arranged a bamboo rafting tour with a visit to a local historic site to feed fish and a nearby temple to feed the monkeys. It was a lovely visit but too short, as we only had 2 nights. I would definitely add two more nights of the jungle air. The hotel restaurant had Thai and western dishes, other restaurants were about 15 minutes away by walking.
