Reviews
This hotel is perfect for a relaxing vacation without much sightseeing. It's a bit far from Phuket Town. There are a few restaurants nearby, but I didn't visit any, opting to eat at the hotel instead.
The hotel's beachside restaurant serves delicious food and isn't expensive at all, offering great value for money. I ate all my meals there for several days, and they even have a show on Saturdays! Overall, it's pretty good.
However, the staff's service awareness could be improved. When we were checking out, we had a lot of luggage. We encountered many staff members on our way to the front desk, but not a single one offered to help, and even the front desk staff didn't assist!
Unfortunately, the bed linen had holes in it, which felt quite unpleasant, and the mosquito net above the bed in the rooms was dirty as well. Housekeeping during the stay was average. If you expect 5-star service in the restaurant, you will be disappointed. The food selection is decent, but the European dishes are underseasoned.
The restaurant staff tried their best. I would rate about half of them as excellent — I would especially like to highlight the food runner Aung and also all the male waiters. The gym and the lady working there were also very kind, and the equipment was sufficient. I would also like to highlight the beach service — friendly and helpful staff.
Unfortunately, there was disappointment at the end as well, as no one asked us for feedback or about our overall experience upon departure. I believe that for the price we paid per night, the accommodation is not adequate for a 5-star hotel.
There is nothing around the hotel , which makes you have to reside in the resort and eat there. For children an absolutely unloved playroom. For a 5 star hotel there should be more offered. There is no child care at all so that the parents can relax in the resort . Other hotels offer „Miniclub“ services . The Spa area is a joke and does not invite for relaxation at all. They offer free massages head and shoulders, once you ask about it the duration is 2 minutes. I had to laugh , I wouldn’t even offer that as it is offering basically nothing.
The hotel could make so much more out of itself if it would lean more towards what the client needs.
It has come into the years and the personell seems to be unschooled and hardly speak English.
Also, I have never been in a five star resort that offers complementary water over the day in plastic bottles with their label on it and I am a travel agent and have seen many hotels. All five star resorts have their water that they offer complementary in glass bottles even four-star resorts have it
Some tips:
-Car rental is helpful but not obligatory. The resort can arrange airport transfers, and you can also rent a scooter once at the hotel.
-Restaurant: The food is good (not outstanding), but the prices are fair. The restaurant is right in front of the beach, making every meal relaxing and enjoyable.
-Insects: You will see ants or a few mosquitoes, the resort sprays lemongrass repellent twice a week. Since the resort is surrounded by vegetation, encountering some insects or small animals is completely normal. People who complain about this probably live in big cities like Paris, London or Moscow and expect everything to be sterile and lifeless. Wake up!
-Activities: The best part is simply enjoying the resort itself, the pool, the beachfront, the restaurant, the villas. You can book excursions like the Similan Islands for a day trip, but honestly, you don’t need much else. You can easily spend a week here just relaxing and recharging.
I had a good times and I can say the best of experiences that I’ve ever had in my life. If any chance, definitely want to go back there.
Thank you so much for the amazing time you give us at the time we stayed there.
The best ever
Best regards
