Anyavee Tubkaek Beach Resort in Klong Muang

I booked a room specifically with an ocean view and the check-in was at 2 p.m. When I arrived shortly after 2, the room wasn’t ready and the staff couldn’t give me a clear estimate of how long it would take. After quite a long wait and only when I insisted, they finally took me to a room that, unfortunately, didn’t have the ocean view I had booked. They didn’t offer any real solution other than basically suggesting I could cancel the reservation, which was not posible at that point. After askong to the manager they endednup giving a different took that looked more like the one of the website but still without ocean view hence it didn’t match what I’d paid for and very little help from the staff.

The room didn’t have a shower but only a bathtub. On top it was dirty as you can see in the picture.

To add to the disappointment, the spa experience was just as frustrating. The staff at the spa wanted me to book my treatment earlier than I preferred so they could finish their day sooner, which didn’t match their posted hours and was really inconvenient. The treatment itself was poor and below the standards I’d expect for the price.

In summary, while the hotel’s structure is nice, it feels run-down and lacks maintenance. Between the unhelpful service, the room issues, and the disappointing spa, I can’t recommend staying here unless they make some serious improvements.”
