Ibiza Bungalow in Haad Yao

I'm 50/50 on this hotel. On the one hand, we were happy with the beach house itself; there's only one. Everything is clean inside: sun loungers, towels, an outdoor area, a kettle, cups, and bath gel. The beach is excellent right from the villa windows. The view is excellent, though the water is waist-deep at high tide before lunch; swimming is unlikely after that. There's a 7/11, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel grounds are clean, not over-maintained; everything seems to be growing. Some new houses face each other, while others are smaller and older and not particularly impressive. There's no TV; I don't need one, but some people like to listen to one in the evening. There's practically no internet; I haven't been able to get any work done for four days now. My local SIM card saved me on my phone, but my laptop doesn't load if I connect. Would I stay there again? If I were staying in a beach villa, it would be for a few days, purely because of the sea, as there wasn't much swimming available. The entrance is good, and then there are rocks and sea urchins. We saw fish, but few, and we didn't want to bump into the corals and sea urchins with our bellies. As for the food, the cafes on the beach aren't very good, and the prices are above average. The only place with good food is the cafe across from the 7/11 on the second floor. The truffle rivioli was delicious, and so was the fish. It's a great place to visit, I definitely recommend it. Otherwise, there are better hotels and beaches. The staff is good, no complaints here. For four days, they didn't clean the place, take out the trash, or refill the water.

We spent four days in the beach bungalow, which we really liked. It was modern, clean, and tidy, just like the entire complex. The view is outstanding! I'd especially like to mention the owners; they are very friendly and accommodating; our every wish was fulfilled. (The owners were fishing, and when we asked if we could have a barbecue, they were happy to do it; it's not on the menu, by the way.) We absolutely recommend it.
