Dreamville Koh Phangan in Thong Sala

I randomly walked in this hotel because I was dissatisfied with the hotel I booked next door, and what a happy surprise!

It’s a small oasis of 10ish bungalows, decorated with taste, where you can enjoy the pool, a nice balcony and even a kitchenette.

Julián, the owner, is very friendly and flexible. He was not planning to rent the only free room he had left because of an early check-in he was expecting for the following day, we came to a common agreement on the time & price.

The best hotel I stayed in Koh Phangan (it was my 3rd!), I would recommend it to you if you are looking for:
-good location (10ish minutes from the pier)
-quietness (even if in theory you can hear your neighbors when they are on their balcony, all the guests were incredibly respectful and I slept like a baby)
-convenience (due to location, laundry & Pure relax massages next door)
-warmth and friendliness

I recommend this place with my eyes closed!

The video is from Bungalow number 7, ideal one as far from the entrance and not the fist one next to the swimming pool. Ideal for the noise-sensitive ones.

My family and I traveled to Koh Phangan for a few days and stayed in three hotels, but Dreamville was the best of all. Each room is a separate house, separated from the neighboring ones by beautiful plants. The house is divided into a main room, a small kitchen, a bathroom, and a terrace.
The main room has a bed with a moderately firm and soft mattress, making it comfortable to sleep on. The room also has a spacious refrigerator (with a minibar at store prices), a TV, a table, a closet, and more. The bathroom has a bathtub rather than a shower, a rarity for hotels on Koh Phangan. The kitchen also has everything you need to prepare breakfast (kettle, microwave, sink). A table with a fan above the terrace allows for comfortable evenings with friends.
The hotel grounds are filled with beautiful plants, creating a truly comfortable and fresh atmosphere. There's also a clean and well-maintained swimming pool with a comfortable temperature. Comfortable sun loungers surround the pool. For those who prefer to cook their own food or buy groceries at the local market, there's a separate, fully equipped kitchen with a stove and all the essentials.
The hotel's location deserves special mention. Situated in the center of the island's southern coast, it's easy to reach anywhere on the island in no more than 20 minutes by minibike. A 7-Eleven convenience store is nearby, offering everything you need. In conclusion, I'd like to express my gratitude to the owner of the Julia Hotel for maintaining the hotel in excellent condition, better than some 5-star hotels in Phuket. We'll definitely be back.

1. Location is perfect. It takes a footwalk of 13min from the Thongsala Pier to Dreamville. If you travel light, you don’t have to go by taxi. Also if you don‘t want to rent a motorcycle or car during your visit on Koh Phangan, you can easily walk to the Pantip Food Market, the Food Court or the Saturday Walking Street. There are also many restaurants and thai massage salons around. A 7-11 is close too.

2. The equipment of the bungalow and the whole bungalow complex has been created very thoughtful by the owner Julian. It contains everything you need and even more. Things we didn‘t expect but loved so much were the small room with worktop, plates, forks, knives,spoons and sink, the big hairdryer, the availabilty of hair conditioner, ant spray and even more.
Big plus points for the communal kitchen with any kind of herbs, tea, coffee, sandwichmaker, toaster, mixer, kettle, pans, pots, plates, mugs, cutlery, etc.

3. The owner Julian was super friendly and helped us with anything. We also rent a motorcycle without any problems and he even offered us to borrow some snorkling equipment!

The Bungalow complex is very private and quiet, although it‘s located in the so called center of Koh Phangan. If we visit Koh Phangan again, we would definitely stay in Dreamville again. Big recommendation!!!!

We had an amazing stay at Dreamville! Out of the three hotels we stayed at in Koh Phangan, this was by far the best. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. But what really made this place special was the exceptional management. The owner was incredibly kind, friendly, and fun, making us feel completely at home. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was perfect. If you’re visiting Koh Phangan, don’t miss out on Dreamville!

Lovely, clean & Cute Owner was brilliant , helpful & Friendly . A quick stay but was very welcomed & comfortable. Excellent location for market & Pier Very clean. Bed quite hard , but that suits some i understand . Shower , and air conditioning worked perfectly

One of the best resorts I've ever stayed in. The owner is very friendly. The room is very spacious and has a small kitchenette as well which was a surprise for me since I wasn't aware of that. Moreover, the room and bathroom had an election mosquito repellent plugged in which was a big plus. The owner has put a lot of thought into building the resort. Highly recommended!

You really can't go wrong with this place, situated conveniently in the center yet secluded and quiet. The owner is nice and accommodating, the room was clean and everything worked great. Will definitely be back, thanks for having me.

Beautiful and peaceful resort in Koh Phangan. The Bungalows are spacious and very clean. Clean and modern bathrooms, a small kitchen area to prepare coffee and snacks, as well as access to a clean shared kitchen if you want to properly cook.

The Garden is beautifully designed and creates a lot of privacy for each bungalow and also keeps it cool.

The pool is quiet and perfect to cool down during the afternoon heat.

+ the Host was extremely attentive and made our stay a wonderful experience.

Its the little things that separate a good hotel from an excellent hotel and this one certainly does not disappoint. All the rooms are individual buildings so other guests are not going to disturb you coming and going. The bathrooms are spacious and you have hot water in the sink as well as the shower. The beds are huge and comfortable with nice pillows not to fat and uncomfortable. The a/c is cold and everything is clean and modern. There is a small kitchen and a pool that more than often is completely unused by other guest as there are only 10 units. The owner has planted the place out so each unit is private and feels like you are in a tropical rain forest. This is the place to rent you won't be disappointed the owner lives on site to attend to your needs. A+.
