Viva Vacation Resort in Lipa Noi

Very nice location, beautiful garden nice beach, and that will be all of positives. Place had its best time maybe 10 years ago. Almost everything in bungalow needs replacement or fixing. When sth fixed it done usind duck tape and glue. There are 2 toilets, there was no water at 1st and in 2nd doors were broken. Stains of mold on the ceiling. Falling tiles in bathroom Rain shower does not worm. Fridge is broken. Bathtub tap is broken. AC does not work - there are two options extremly cold or extremly hot. Nothing beetwen. There are cats in bungalow lying on bed. And So on.... Very basic breakfast.

My experience with this property is a nightmare. Checked in around 5pm and there’s no hot running water in the room. The safe had no battery. There’s only one small AC in the bedroom, which makes the living room and bathroom hot like a hell. The maintenance guy came to fix the water temporarily but it’s gone again when I came back from the dinner. So was the electricity. Looks like the power outage is an issue in this area and there’s no backup generator at the property. Only one staff speaks English and the guy who works in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed busy. Communication is a big issue as the phone in the room doesn’t work at all. You need to WhatsApp manager for any issue and he will arrange accordingly. There’s no staff on site after 10pm. Maintenance guy didn’t come to fix the water issue at night as he went back home. I was desperate to leave around 9pm so I called the manager. Literally I escaped from this place at 10pm with a room charge of THB2700, which is ridiculous. If you can’t offer something basic like hot running water (cold water for shower is muddy by the way) for your paying guest, how could you expect people to pay for the suffering. I didn’t argue with them as I took it as a lesson learned.
